It should be included in the latest version of the software by now. I would give it a try. You should be GTG.
I think I will: can I ask which hardware you used to connect to the OBD port?

ok. so this drove me crazy. I bought the more expensive option because it was recommended on the FORSCAN website and I didn't want to have any problems. Well... I still had problems because I made a stupid mistake. I downloaded and updated the software that came with the scanner but that is separate from updating the firmware. Long story short, make sure you update the firmware on the scanner that you are trying to use and you will be fine.

Awesome. You will be fine. The key is to watch a lot of YouTube videos and make sure you do a backup first thing (for each module you are working with).

Send me a PM if you get in a jam and i will give you my phone number and try to talk you through your issues.

I received an email from Forscan after asking them about my VIN. Since I haven't been able to use it yet I haven't paid for a license so they could technically help, but verified my 2024 VIN showed i up int he database and would be supported when the v2.3.59 is officially released so I'll just hang tight for that update to be safe I think vs risk jumping the gun and janking something up as a newbie

I just downloaded Forscan and paid for the year subscription. It’s really cheap for what it does, much cheaper than parameter coding OBD software for other car brands like Toyota or VW/AUDI. Anyways FORSCAN works perfectly on MY2024 Ford Maverick XL awd. I was able to add extra drive modes and several other mods that 2022-2023 Mavericks have been doing. I’m sure there is more that can be updated and figured out tho for the Maverick specifically. Like a MASTER FORSCAN SPREADSHEET for the Maverick would be nice.

just purchased my 2024 xl and interested in this FORscan stuff. Only problem is I live in the stone age when it comes to computers and such. What are the basic requirements for the laptop that needs to be used. I would have to go out and buy one. I don't own a laptop. Thanks for the help and advice.

Hey I don't know who needs to hear this but forscan definitely works for all 2024 mavericks. XL, XLT and Lariat. I have a 2024 that it works on and have seen others test it successfully. I don't know who is spreading false or OLD information but forscan works great for the 2024 Mavericks.

Your best bet is a Windows 10 or 11 laptop with an Intel chip. And it needs some sort of USB, which all laptops should have. I was able to use a USB-C to USB-A adapter since the OBDLinkEX is USB-A.

I've been using the latest FORScan release on my '24 Lariat that I just got a month ago.
Mostly works. Not all the changes I've tried seem to be working but most are. I'll blame that on Ford, not the FORScan developers.
I did notice it contains nothing for PATS programming or programming 'Intelligent Access' key fobs although according to another post I saw with a screenshot, it works on the '23s.

I noticed this on difference between free trial and paid
" Access to the new security functions (RF keypad learning, new PATS) - not available under free trial license."

Can y'all go to the abs module and post a screen shot of the drive modes ? I'm trying to find out which ones do what, there's currently 31 on Ford's newest flash and only 5 or so are named . I need to see what is factory enabled
