A 70s flip mirror on ALL models. How hard/much would it be to include an auto-dimming mirror?

The Flex downshifted more aggressively, allowing me to use the brakes much less often. Lastly, my Flex had paddle shifters, which I used often on hilly terrain. (I have tried the "L" button on my Mav, but not enough to come to a conclusion about it.)
Tow mode works great in hilly terrain and will downshift for engine braking when you briefly apply the brakes going downhill. If you need more engine braking than tow mode provides, then use "L".

All Ya'all are unhappy with your Mav. I find your concerns refreshing and a new experience on my 2025 XLT

Interior plastic and lack of a proper rpm gauge on the 25s. Other than those two things, truck is great.

Is the *bleeping* gas "gauge" on the 2025. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have a 9 segment ugly "gauge" taking up all that vertical space needs to be taken out back and taught a lesson. In my 50 years of driving I've never seen a more stupid "gauge" in my life. Same pretty much goes for the temperature gauge but I don't look at that one as much.

This even beats out the off-centered rear license plate (which 3 people have already commented to me on).

What's your biggest complaint?
Pic please ,I have a 23xl

  1. Two doors and two feet too long. 99.999% of my daily Maverick sightings have exactly one person in the vehicle.
  2. No pure BEV variant, which I'd buy even at $10,000 over my Ecoboost (as long as it has a frunk).
  3. Minor annoyance - the tech is ten years outdated (even Sync4). I'm reasonably OK with that because of the (relatively) cheap as dirt price.
The Maverick is OK, but I'll deep six it without regret the instant I can buy a pure BEV small truck. Preferably two doors. I'm cheering for Slate and Telo.

Although I appreciate the ability lock my truck from the Ford App, I would have liked to have had the “walk away” lock feature.

I'm very happy with my '24 Lariat EB. It's exactly what I thought it was when I ordered it.

$19

I upgraded mine for $19.
Ford could probably do it in bulk for $9.

i also have a Mazda with a vertical gas gauge, it's small and annoying. we humans have evolved to read horizontal gas gauges.

I absolutely love my 25 Lariat hybrid AWD But I don’t like the lack of dials for temperature and fan. Can be very distracting.

The entire infotainment system. The poor quality screen that washes out in sunlight. The blurry backup camera. The audio system that opens CarPlay when it wants to, or not. The slow to react volume changes. My daily driver is a Chevy Blazer EV, so getting into the Maverick is like a time warp to 10 years ago
