I'm getting ready to reapply my ceramic coat before it gets too hot out to do so. Best summer upgrade I made was 70% windshield tint and 35% tint around the rest of the cab. A sunshade would still be nice on the very hot days or when my truck is sitting for days at a time, though.
I feel like it didn't really happen much over the past few months of winter, definitely happened a lot less frequently. Truck is now at nearly 8k miles. Maybe it'll come back as it warms up?
Nice work, definitely worth it over the cheap 12v aftermarket heater pads. The factory heated seats are ridiculously strong compared to any aftermarket ones I've used in past vehicles.
I don't expect my Maverick to last as long as my old 4Runner but that thing had a roof rack hole rust out. I'd make sure all bare metal is painted and primed and I'd also put a bit of fluid film or something in the holes. I'll figure out a different style rack for the Maverick.
Got the first oil change done because it's too cold to do it myself, but I will be changing out the cabin filter this week. Trying to do that once a year.
The Lobo over the AWD Hybrid is an odd choice but whatever, the more press the Maverick gets the better. Much rather see these on the road over giant full size trucks, plus it might spur some much-needed small truck competition.
Doesn't matter if you're watching the road or not because if you're illuminating someone enough to see it's too late, you've already fried their vision
It's in the dash settings menu somewhere. I totally blinded a bicyclist who was on a path alongside a 55 mph road shortly after getting the truck and disabled them immediately after. Still feel bad about that, can't believe auto high beams are legal even. No regard to anyone who might be near...
I've got one of these, works fine with the Maverick- https://www.amazon.com/vgate-vLinker-Bluetooth-Diagnostic-Android/dp/B08FSNVZVK?th=1
I've used it with Forscan and with the Torque app
Tires did just fine for anyone wondering. Maintained the speed limit or above the whole drive across the UP and thru Wisconsin into Minnesota. Deepest snow snow I went through was probably only 5 inches, though. I'll get something better eventually but fine for now.
Final drive ratio is the same across fwd and awd hybrids

Supposed to be traveling through from east to west (coming from lower Michigan) this weekend but I haven't used my awd hybrid in the snow yet and I'm not sure that this is the storm to test it out in lol
I'm in Minnesota and deal with a lot of snow and I think all-weather (not all-season) tires have gotten so good that I haven't run dedicated winter tires on any of my vehicles for a few years now. Tire technology has come a long way. Then again it is pretty flat here even with all the snow we...
