Given that it's pretty much an auto parts delivery truck?
Never regretted paying almost half the lariat cost for mechanically the same truck. My XL does everything I expected it to do (except keeping the 12v battery charged). Bottom line is it's your money and you spend it as you desire. No Maverick will ever be a status symbol of wealth or success.

Waiting for the "Has anyone ever regretted getting a XLT?" And "Has anyone ever regretted getting a Tremor?" topics next.
Well, I happen to have a 23 XLT Tremor and have zero regrets. I consider myself lucky to have picked up this beast for under $32k with a spray in bed liner and cargo management system. I can't afford the new Tremor. 😬

They definitely look cool- there were a couple not dealers selling old Lariat tremots for new price with add-ons so it was a no go. I thought the 2025 series looked and felt better than the 2022 models so even though I got an Ecoboost models I didn't go with the previous generation. That and the ecoboost already gets terrible gas mileage, if i was going the used route and getting 20mpg I would have just picked up a Frontier Pro4X. 32k is good price though.

Don't forget about the Lobo! 🐺

Best thread ever. OP has a sense of humor. Now, if we can only merge this with the "Anybody regret buying a Lariat" thread, we can have another amusing civil war on MTC.

It's like The Matrix. I think we're on the twentieth iteration of the "you're dumb if you bought a Lariat" vs "you're dumb (and cheap) if you bought an XL" thread.

Us XLT guys are in the middle watching the heavy artillery fly back and forth over our heads.

The only threads better than XL vs Lariat are the BEV threads and anything that dares say "Santa Cruz" in the thread title. Oh wait, I forgot the recent nuclear thread option - mentioning tariffs.
And don't ever ask what oil to use, or anything about catch cans.

Purchased my XL November of 2021. Not much of a selection back then. I bought a truck that was coming to the dealership in a few weeks. Velocity Blue, Steelies (like them, still have them), AWD, Ford CoPilot 360. $25,500. Happy I got what I got. No FOMO, no regrets.

I regret all the extra money in the bank and also installing adaptive cruise control and not having sweaty pleather seats.

Different strokes for Different folks. It's a beautiful country where we can choose what we want. Less ,more. There's is no bad choice. It's all in what you want and need. Thats why they have different options, models, colors.. I like steak. Some people prefer burgers or kale. (The kale guy probably going to live the longest)
That being said.
BTW
The Xlt 4k lux fx4 was the best deal going back in 22. Under 30k .

I think we should celebrate those who acquired the Maverick Poverty Edition....:ROFLMAO:😅😂

Now if there were only a 'ducking emoji' available. Y'all know I'm just teasing. Honestly would have considered an XL... but by golly, if I'm having a car payment again, I'm getting a rear sliding window and sunroof...

Why not? Sort of in a bit of a dead period, news wise. We need something to talk about.
I was wondering, what would be next...
Since, "the Camera" drama has past... :ROFLMAO:

A delivery truck? You mean a working truck that actually hauls usefully every day instead of hauling air 98% of its miles? Moving on from your rather trollish (meant in the kindest possible way) question:

Most people think carefully before they spend $25,000 to $45,000 on a vehicle. That’s why, in my opinion, the large majority of Maverick buyers will be happy with their choice of XL, XLT, or Lariat (or the other new flavors).

In my case, a Lariat was within my budget. But the XL met all of my needs and almost all of my wants. I paid cash and with the money the XL saved, I replaced the 25 year old HVAC system for my house, bought my first carbon framed bicycle, and still had a few thousand dollars left over.

On the other hand, if you know you won’t be happy with an XL, or even an XLT, unless you’re under severe budget constraints you’d be dumb not to spring for the Lariat.

But, It has been, A Great Ford Ranger replacement.
I should know.. (had three of them).. ;)

All of the "Standard" Equipment, that is common today (and people take for granted).
Would have put my early Rangers into "Lariat" status..
