Those look really goodFinally got around to doing this the right way. I tried the Mabbet revised version with the smoked lenses, and wasn't a huge fan they just look too plain and stick out too far on the fender compared to OEM.
So I used my own OEM XLT fender inserts and painted them to match. Now the only Chrome left is the headlights and tail lights bowls. I used a small 5/8" round amber LED for the blinker and a frosted lens cover. I ordered the turn signal adapter harness from custom Auto works store for $50, way overpriced but it was so much easier than doing it myself for the harness.
I got the LEDs as well as the wiring to extend to the OEM blinker from super bright LEDs.com here in St Louis Missouri. I already had the paint so that was no extra cost all in all the mod probably cost me about 85.00, Plus my time for painting. If anybody needs part numbers for LEDs are the blinker harness adapter let me know.
These are much brighter than the Mabetts with their smoked lens and easier to see in the daylight as well. Really happy with the way they turned out.
