Oh boy, what is it ? Did I make a Boo Boo 😁
You can't mate equine with bovine and yet you did. 😱
It would be fine if you had a Bronco or a Mustang that would be in the Equine family.

You are the Proud Owner of a nice
Ford Maverick 🐂 which is in the Bovine family.

Yes, I saw the Maverick badging on the sides.👍

Totally agree or at least reward points for referrals.
I have owned my MAV less than a month and have handed out 2 business cards!
🤓 🤔 Business cards???

Well you just taught me something new 👍I thought a MAVERICK was a horse but I found out that a MAVERICK is an unbranded cow, so you are correct sir 👌It shall be removed

Here's Legend of how cows got to be called Mavericks.
My family has been naming their machines since the 1950’s.

While i was looking up a name for my new Maverick, I found thisI

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/maverick

”When a client gave Samuel A. Maverick 400 cattle to settle a $1,200 debt, the 19th-century south Texas lawyer had no use for them, so he left the cattle unbranded and allowed them to roam freely (supposedly under the supervision of one of his employees). Neighboring stockmen recognized their opportunity and seized it, branding and herding the stray cattle as their own. Maverick eventually recognized the folly of the situation and sold what was left of his depleted herd, but not before his name became synonymous with such unbranded livestock. By the end of the 19th century, the term maverick was being used to refer to individuals who prefer to blaze their own trails.”
Kinda cool, so I wanted to share.
Here is a picture of the judge himself Samuel Maverick.

I am the old chatty guy! At one time the police worked for me. I get comments like "that pickp ain't very big" and my reply "I got tired of having to haul a around that step ladder just to get in the driver's seat."

It’s been a while since anyone has actually approached me about the Maverick, but I had two this week. A coworker who apparently hasn’t known I had one for the last year and a half (he works at the other end of our yard and I don’t see him often) was checking it out asking how comfortable it was and if his golf clubs would fit in the bed. This morning, I had a gentleman at the gas station ask me about it. He wants to get a Tremor but is waiting to get a used one after a bit of depreciation.

the only comment i got was from a maverick owner that noticed my reverse noise and asked about the lack of hybrid badging on the tailgate.

Today, I also learned that a Maverick was an unbranded calf and not a wild horse.

When I'm loading and unloading stuff curbside, 60+ year old people ask me questions. Most common: do you like it? how much does it cost? what's your mpg? do you have to plug it in? They always get positive answers from me: it's nice to drive/ has lots of features (Lariat trim) / parks easy/ great mpg/ bed size is perfect for what I haul. It's a great truck for different types of individuals but especially for a person in my situations, a retired person who likes to keep busy with projects requiring the hauling of materials and tools.

It’s funny…the Maverick is considered an inexpensive truck, yet I’ve gotten more comments on it than any other vehicle I’ve owned.

Just today I got into a long chat with a cool war veteran who was disabled. He was really into the Maverick and was thinking of buying one.

I’ve noticed this happens a lot. Anyone else?
That's because it is seen as the best value for a cool vehicle out there. Once cars get expensive who cares? People admire a vehicle they feel is within reach not some $500k Maserati they will never be able to own. Plus it's a great value, great gas mileage with the hybrid, really comfortable and the perfect size interior, easy to park, rides really smooth, the utility of a bed, and has all the tech you want but not too much at under $30k. I think Ford knocked it out of the park with the Maverick! I bet if they knew a small truck would sell so well they wouldn't have priced it so low!
