Well I've been getting regular deep sleep notices in my '22 Lariat Hybrid, and it's not driven as much as many of you folks. I have 12,600 miles on mine.
I was over my 3 year warranty on my lead acid battery, and decided to go this route as an experiment.
I had the dealer load test the battery, and also ensure they had an AGM battery on hand.
The load test came back as the battery was ok. Well of course that does nothing to remedy the deep sleep notices, so I had them install the AGM battery ($229) and I paid the core charge ($20) for the lead acid battery, and kept it.
So I'll see if the AGM does in fact cure the deep sleep issues on my Maverick.
I wasn't so worried about dropping a few bucks on this .......
- AGM was Motocraft BAGM-H4 540 CCA 80 RC 50 AH

Yes, class action lawsuits are almost always useless to individuals.

I was in the PS3 settlement like 10 years ago. Sony pushed out a mandatory software update that killed the Linux alternative boot option, which I was actually using because I was a nerd, but I didn't find it all that useful with limited resources. Still, some people had built distributed compute clusters with an array of PS3, and Sony didn't like it as they lost money on the PS3 and made it back on games.

3-4 years later, I got a gift card for 3 months of PSN which at the time had a value of $15. Whoop-de-fricken-doo.
I hear you! About 30 years ago my mortgage company had a class action lawsuit against them. After about 18 months, multiple mail updates about 10-12 pages each, we prevailed. I received a check for 11 cents.

My wife literally got a check from a class action lawsuit for $1.35 for some peace of technology that I'm sure cost over $500 at the time we bought it.

Only the lawyers are benefitted by these class action suites. I bought an Interstate AGM battery and my battery issues have disappeared.
The customers also benefit. The lawyers are getting into Ford's pocketbook which causes great anguish. If they had been more customer-focused, they would have been more profitable. They got hit where it hurts, deservedly so.

customers do not benefit from frivolous lawsuits against businesses, or government.

We seldom benefit from legitimate ones.

I'm sure that the present cycle of deregulation will allow for the free market to sort these issues out. It's never been the case before, but surely it will be different this time. Right?

it would have been nice had you (or if you do, yet) provided a link to the specific battery you are calling out.....

I have the same flooded battery that you have in my 23 hybrid. I have a few more miles with 17,200.
Couple of times in September the interior lights did not come on when I opened the door, that's when I hooked the charger to it. But I've only charged it once overnight. Turned off all possible communications and pulled fuse 11/12. I haven't had a problem since.

Just so I know for future reference, where is fuse 11/12 located at?
Appreciate the tips!
