So drove my wifes 2024 bronco sport outer banks to the dealer to get the 6 month old rear shocks replaced due to them both leaking and noticed the shifter dial ring is way nicer than my lariat hybrid. So do you think they are swappable?

Don't know any info about swapping. But, I installed this on my hybrid XLT and I like it a lot

I removed the internal double sided tape and it fits perfectly fine. And, if I ever want to take it off, it should be easier that way too

Oh, I like that! Any difference in the tactile feel?

I really prefer the one that's in my Escape Titanium. I think if I could switch out I'd go to that one. (I'll get and post a pix here tomorrow.)

My Bronco sport felt better but the real difference was my Bronco sport stopped when you got to drive or park. Not a fan of having it just keep spinning on the Mav.

I agree. I'd never had that type of gear selector until I got the Escape and had over a year to get used to it. When I tried out my Mav and it kept turning I thought the thing was broken!

I am continually amazed about the esthetics of functional components that people obsess about in this forum. I couldn't even tell which image showed the Maverick or Bronco Sport component until I drove again.

Yes. It's firm to squeeze. The stock rubber feels slightly squishy when squeezed. This is firm. There's ridges so that it's grippy when spinning. I like the feel better.

Pix of the aforementioned Escape Titanium shift knob, no idea if the ones on the other Escapes are the same.

Honestly, I can't disagree w/ ya. This shifter knob is something I've noticed but I'd certainly not consider searching out, buying, and installing a replacement unless the one I had needed to be replaced! Not gunna obsess over that or 0W20 vs. 5W30 oil or whatever else the concern dejour on here is. When I was searching for my Mav one at a dealer not too far from here showed up that had some godawful orange junk stuck to the grill and front bumper and on all the controls in the interior as well. Instant turn-off! It had the right options, low miles, and not a bad price, but; No, thank you very much but, No.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Cuz I looked at the picture I thought which one's which. Course I'm so OCD that I was blowing on my phone to get all the dead skin cells and dirt off the dials. 😂

The 2025s come with the one from the Bronco Sport so they should be swappable without issue.

I don't blame you for walking away.
Folks that permanently customize their truck. Thinking that everybody's going to love their customization. Then wonder why nobody wants to buy it or why the trade-in value isn't what they expected.
