A mounted tire is a tire. A wheel is a metal component that is bolted to a vehicle and to which a tire is mounted. A rim is a portion of the wheel. Tires have tread. Wheels do not have tread, even in idiotic slang.

Amen! A coffee mug has a rim too, but you don't call a coffee mug a rim, do ya? The rim is just the part of the wheel you mount a tire to, like the rim of a coffee mug is what you put your lips on.

@Gray Goose Go to an online store that sells the round metal things you mount tires to such as Summit Racing, Discount Tire, Tire Rack, etc. and note what they're called--"Wheels". Note "Wheel and Tire Packages" below.

Looks like the windshield is already cracked. But at least they fixed the large gaping underbody cavity behind the captain’s (driver’s) side rear wheel well. I also prefer the 1st gen front end with larger headlights and less painted trim.

Yeah, and as a kid I was taught by dear ol' dad that a motor runs on electricity and an engine runs on a fuel like diesel or gasoline. Guess those NASCAR guys who are gunna drop in a new motor should make room for extra batteries, huh?

I'm the lucky one. Lasfit bulbs in my truck over a year and still working fine. Not sure why some have problems with them and some don't.
