So for the current stack of vehicles mainly made in the US (since many would be happy to pay more for that) - what is the quality like?
I always seem to see an equal sign between made in US = quality.
Pretty sure I stopped seeing that many many years ago as an automatic given fact, in many products except perhaps simple cheap things.
Same as a manufacturer decides what the quality control is in foreign factories, they still decide what the product is made from and expected quality.
If labor is more - what goes down in price for the product?
I understand this is more about negotiating, but surprised how many comments still have that = sign in there.
Years ago when a lot of telephone tech support went to India - businesses could pay for those that spoke very good English almost without an accent, very expensive but cheaper than US rates still.
Many could also obviously pay very little - and we have all probably experienced the result of those support centers.

I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't believe the price has increase by 30 percent and even if it has, MOST of that would be in the form of inflation. The price of food has increased by over 50 percent in the past few years. Inflation=the DEVALUE of the Dollar, hence EVERYTHING costs more.
Seems people get angry at manufacturing raising prices, but if they don't, their product would be taking a CUT. I would love for someone to show many ANYONE that makes a product and it sells EVERY ORDER they can manufacture. Then says, okay we are going to CUT prices on this item since we can't make enough to satisfy the market..... I'll wait.....

I saw several post mentioning fords profits just becoming less w tariffs.

This kind of a bummer because I purposely avoid Yahoo, Fox News, I don't turn on the afternoon news or the evening news or the local news or even read the local paper because I'm sick and tired of hearing about the orange clown and the zombie that just left office and then I come here to a site that I love and several posts are arguing about those too. You are spot on about price increases on the Maverick. I just calculated for someone on this forum their price increase from 22 to the 25 MYs...this was XLT hybrid...about 21%. For me, I calculated the price increase for Lariat AWD EB from MY22 to MY25...7% increase. I highly doubt the 30% increase exists. YMMV, depending on trim level and type of engine.

...I hear ya...getting too political for me too...thinking of leaving the site..I want to read/discuss the Maverick, not who is doing what to whom...
If tariffs do get enacted I will make a thread for buyers and would be buyers to see if any dealer tries to screw anyone over or try to charge over msrp
