Anybody annoyed at how dark the smoked glass is on the sliding rear window? It makes it difficult to see things with the rear view mirror. I often have to open the rear window to get a clear view of things behind me. Also has anyone else noticed the dash console lights reflect directly off that rear window and into the rear view mirror (making it look like lights behind the vehicle at night)?

Re: Rear view - I removed the center headrest. That more than anything blocked my view. I never carry anyone in the center of the rear seat anyway. The headrest stores under the seat in case I need it.

I have not had any issues with reflection off the dash. I wonder if you need to lower the brightness of your display?

No shade, but I'd make an appointment with your ophthalmologist promptly.

I would suggest replacing the mirror with a dash cam one. They show the rear camera instead of the mirror and it will give you much better view plus a dash cam.
Any recommendations?

They are all pretty much the same. Some have detached front cam which can be helpful for making sure the camera is in a good unobstructed position. I have a togaurd one and haven't had any issues.

I mean I would stick to Amazon personally. There are tons of them.
When looking up a product, the manufactures site is normally a better resource. Amazon's site is just such trash to use... Don't get me wrong, I buy from them all the time, but I hate using the site.

Buying, yeah, variable; and if the mfg is unknown, I'm probably not buying straight from their site.

Neither of those is a concern to me- bigger issue for me is that the size is small and the surrounding frame is flimsy (dont they understand trucks and that users want to pass lumber or other stuff through there???- its not just for airflow although that is nice)
