In my 2024 eco AWD lariat
In the dash menu/vehicle/remote start settings. I can set to use last dash settings or auto.
I use auto, seats and steering wheel heat up on cold mornings as does the cab. All defrosted and toasty ..
Yah that menu doesn't exists in 25s its in the radio display that I showed above there is less going on in the cluster in the 25 even though it's bigger

I have noticed the same thing in mine too in these recent snow storms in Colorado.

Definitely need to check. Only been a few days. But saw your post, when I remote started it this morning if you look under slider toggle in app. You can manually turn on seat warmer and steering wheel from there. Also choose your temp or have it on auto climate.

Hmm maybe that's the issue I'm starting with key fob not the app I'll try the app today

Ok so after doing a remote start in the app and setting it in the app they now start as expected via the key fob. There must be a missing menu or oversight on the initial config for them.

Yup, not everyone wants to use the app.

Have you tried turning on the heated seats before you turn off the truck?
When I went to go pick up my truck my salesman explained this to me. Turn everything on before you turn the truck off.

Just got my ‘25 Lariat.
I too am having the same issue.
I had a ‘22 Lariat, and it worked as expected.
There is a software bug somewhere.

We (myself and the tech guy that goes through features with you) confirmed all the settings were Auto before I left the dealer. I purposely did that because I saw this thread.
I remote started yesterday, temp below 40° F. Nothing was On.
I then reconfirmed the settings were Auto. I also did the ‘change to Off, then back to Auto’ test. Next remote start, they did not come On. Next I started from inside the truck, the seats were On but not the wheel; so I turned On the wheel. Next remote start, nothing was On. So it it definitely not working properly. Adding this to my list of things for dealer to look at; to at least get it documented.

BTW - I find it silly that one is ‘Auto’ and the other is ‘AUTO’. How hard can it be to use the same character casing for settings?

If you look above there is a fix I found remote start with fordpass and set the seat and wheel on in fordpass after it starts. After that point if they were set to auto in the truck they will work when you remote start with the remote.

My 25 Lariat is doing the same,no heated seats or wheel using the remote start. Also using remote start I dont get a green light on the fob confirming remote start worked like my 23 Lariat had done

I did see that post. However, I do not see any seat & wheel options in my FordPass app on my iPhone.

Hmm I'm on Android when you start it via the app a climate section doesn't appear in the iOS version similar to this.

I actually have never noticed that. I just move the slide then close the app. They never had that in the older version of the app, when you had to press and hold a button for it to start. I will check. For my last post, I was looking while the car was off.

The green light was an eliminated feature on newer Fords...Like the wiper heater, wired keypad and temp display - I just bought my '22, love my truck!
