Thought that I would share a pic of my bed divider that I made. It is out of Cedar with holes for tie downs and to reduce the weight.

Similar concept, with a couple more tweaks: hinged in the center, with a latch to index and a top support to stabilize the joint deflection.

Port & starboard ends have strips of all weather carpet glued to achieve a ‘snug’ fit when installed.

A fun bit of functional whimsy!

It is in the bed divider slots that are in the bed.

Looks great with the cedar!!! Great idea. I was thinking the holes were for rods

Yes, plus gives you a place for running a bungee cord through if you need it.
