Mexico plant Maverick production suspended next week from November 1-5

More shut down time due to material shortages. This time for the whole week of November 1st to the 5th.

MEXICO CITY, Oct 28 (Reuters) - U.S. automaker Ford Motor Co. will suspend production at its Hermosillo factory in northern Mexico from November 1-5 due to material shortages, according to a union statement issued on Thursday.

Don’t like the news, but it’s not surprising. Just like the Army ‘hurry up and wait’. I had a 11/15, 11/22, 11/29 build dates probably getting ready to have December or later date now. Oh well who wants a new truck in the dead of winter anyway.

I wonder how many people are still scheduled for the week of Nov. 1-5. I've seen lots of chatter around production dates pushed recently, so maybe they already moved everyone from next week's production. Here's to hoping my Nov. 15 week isn't affected!

I'm scheduled for 11/1. For about 20 more minutes probably....

Well hope everyone is ready for a long wait. Ford better hope that some other company does not come out with a Hybrid before they figure out their production problems.
