With the cameras looking out the windshields, does the tint bar come down low enough to obstruct the view? Would the tint affect the camera's abilities or does it not matter?

Tint doesn't get/can't be applied where the camera is mounted.

Not the best pic, but where I pointed is the inside housing around the camera. They will tint around that on the inside. The camera is right above the silver part in the middle.

I paid $100 for 25% on the front sides, and $120 for 50% on the whole windshield.
Windshield was since replaced due to a crack, and I'm not sure if I'll tint it again.

I am going to get my front windows tinted to match the back, and as I haven't ever had that done, I'm curious what people pay for that. My dealership offered to do it for $249 with a warranty, and given that they a) offered that unprompted, and b) included a warranty (which I don't honestly think I should ever need on window tint, of all things), I assume it's WAY overpriced, but I don't know that necessarily.

Related, if not the dealer, where do you go to have that done, or do you recommend some DIY method? We've all seen poorly done tint, that's not the goal here...

If you guys and gals have more experience here, I'd appreciate some guidance, and I imagine there may be others wondering the same.

Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere already. I did a super quick search and didn't see it, but let me know. I appreciate you people.

Tint World check them out that is where a friend goes and recomender them to me and I will be taking mine there next week.

Local place quoted me 220 for ceramic tint. Fronts matching rear and a 20% windshield visor.

The top end tints from 3M or Llumar cost more that some of the crap discount tinting places use.

Bummer I'm in NJ where the law is no windshield or front side window tint at all.

I may be wrong but there are no states that allow the front windshield to be tinted except for a strip at the top of the windshield. I did that in Texas.

The cost of tint mainly depends on the quality of the film. Cheap quality film is usually in the ballpark of around $99 - $250. Good quality film (many layers) that helps with too much heat entering the cabin and UV protection can be anywhere from $700 - $1200.

I believe Tennessee just changed their law to allow for front windshield tint as long as it doesn't exceed 70% for the full windshield and allows for any tint about the AS1 line.

Window tint is installed on the inside (unless some idiot installs it on the outside) so no camera obstruction.

It's 20%. That's what they did on my front windows to match the stock tint.

Are those red and blue lights in your side view mirrors? Oh wait, your tint is too dark to see them.

$85 for both front windows with 3 year warranty, $115 for lifetime. $185 if I was dumb enough to get ceramic. Price quotes ranged from $65 to $175 for 3 year front windows.

Here in NC, in our shop we charge $295 plus tax for full ceramic tint for a full truck/car. $200 plus tax for the windshield and $35 for a windshield strip. For 2 doors it runs $100 plus tax. We have lifetime warranty on all of our tint, as long as you hold onto your receipt. We would be out of business if we tried to get more than $350 for a full car. People around here won't pay those prices.

I paid $100 for front 2 windows and the visor on the front windshield. Lifetime warranty.

What percent tint did you go with ? Matches well with the back glass.
