I have the EGR in channels on they're way, should arrive Tuesday.

Won't come soon enough cuz when I've had the window cracked during a thunderstorm the rain just flows in on the Maverick. Never really had the issue on my SUVs but all my trucks just seem to let the water pour in during rain.

Not so much out here in the southwest. Where I grew up in the upper Midwest I really liked cars that had the roof drip moldings.

Hint
I added very thin 3M double-sided automotive tape on the front vents. Do not use the thick foam tape that they sell at regular stores. If you do, you may encounter bounce back on your window.
The rear vents come with it already applied.

That and remember to clean the channel out occasionally. Especially if dusty. I use a spray bottle and t-shirt material with a credit card

Yeah last car I owned was a 2016 Ford fusion and the water didn't flow in like it does in the Maverick or other Ford and Chevy trucks I've owned.

I put a set of EGR in-channel deflectors on about 2 weeks ago and I really like them. They provide excellent coverage, block just the inside of the right side mirror a tiny bit (not a concern) and look really good. They are far superior to the AVS, imo, and on par with the WeatherTech. Last I checked, WeatherTech didn't have any visors for the rear windows, just the front. I got all 4 EGR visors for less than the set of 2 from WeatherTech. Highly recommend. Don't understand the negative reviews I've read about them. They seem great to me.

Yeah if it wasn't for the AVS low profile extending past the rear window I would have went for them. But they look out of place seeing how they extend nearly 3 in past the back door window..

Never liked the stuck-on look. 👎
They look so ...added on. Especially the rear ones!
These are EGR in channel. They do block maybe 1/3 of the right mirror for me, but does not bother me.

The in the channel blend so well.
You can barely tell you have window vents.

Have you ever tried to scratch glass with plastic?
If the glass is scratched that means that dirt got in the window channel and you aren't keeping it clean.
For those who say they have tinted windows and it's scratched the tint. The tint is applied to the inside of the window the plastic rubs against the outside of the window. 🤔 Keep the channel clean.

I have never had a bounce-back of my power windows. Only a few of my 2004+ newer vehicles have had this feature.
When I check the reviews.
It doesn't seem to be a widespread problem, just isolated incidents.
If you are having bounce-back problems. Could be, installation issues. How well did you seat the vent ? How long did you wait before operating the windows? Was it hot or cold during your installation.
On the rare occasion of bounce-back. You can always bevel a small part of the bottom rear & forward edge with sandpaper.

When done right ( manufactured to stick to the window trim rubber not the paint) I actually prefer them. They look cleaner and there's nothing sitting inside the glass channel to cause bounce back or scratch the glass edge which commonly occurs with in channel vent visors.

I had the in channels on my '07 Hummer h3 as well as my 12 f150 screw. Both sets scratch the glass, and I had bounce back to the point I got the low profile stick on version from AVS on my F-150.

I like both versions but both have their caveats. For example The end channels cause bounce back at times as well as scratch the edge of the glass, where as the stick-ons sometimes come loose and or don't always fit properly. Ymmv

I also liked the wind deflectors that were on the front door windows.

Real happy with my in channel EGR, no bounce back a year in with no scratching on this or previous trucks.
