Has anyone had them on their truck for a longer period of time? I am curious about how they hold up going through a car wash.

Looks good, mine should be here Tuesday. I love the look of the in channels, I hope I'm as lucky as you with no issues on bounce back on fronts and no scratching on the windows edges.Real happy with my in channel EGR, no bounce back a year in with no scratching on this or previous trucks.

You will likely get some bounce when installing, I did on the drivers side. Follow the instructions and keep windows up a day or two, I did two. If they drag after that wipe in some dry silicone, I didn't have to on this truck.Looks good, mine should be here Tuesday. I agree Redline. I put my EGRs on last week with no issues. They hit the safety down feature a couple of times then were fine. Great look and very functional.I put a set of EGR in-channel deflectors on about 2 weeks ago and I really like them. They provide excellent coverage, block just the inside of the right side mirror a tiny bit (not a concern) and look really good. They are far superior to the AVS, imo, and on par with the WeatherTech. Last I checked, WeatherTech didn't have any visors for the rear windows, just the front. I got all 4 EGR visors for less than the set of 2 from WeatherTech. Highly recommend. Don't understand the negative reviews I've read about them. They seem great to me.
Absolutely correct. AMEN.You will likely get some bounce when installing, I did on the drivers side. Follow the instructions and keep windows up a day or two, I did two. If they drag after that wipe in some dry silicone, I didn't have to on this truck.
The plastic will not scratch the glass, it's softer but grit will visors or not if it accumulates. Take some time to clean the channels couple time a year, visors or not. I use an old dry tooth brush followed by a vacuum.
Crunchy,I still have to clean the channel's out, because they get crunchy.
It's true.Crunchy,![]()
We don't usually have crunchy air around these parts pardner, but I did a 8 month Army electronics school in Az years back. At the time I was surprised how many vehicles looked sand blasted there. It's true.
In the 3 window vent threads that I know of. You are the first one, who realizes it is grit and grime getting in the window channel that's scratching the tempered safety glass. Not the plastic/acrylic visor.
I also wonder how many that are having problems with bounce back, didn't bother to follow the 72-hour rule of not using the windows?![]()
Looks good! Something to think about.Arrived today and installed... If it wasn't for the laser etching on the fronts, you almost wouldn't be able to tell they're there.
