While we wait, do you think your current car will make it until your Maverick delivery date? I have a 2013 ford focus with 130k on it and it looks like I will have to make sure it passes inspection in Feb, but really don't want to re-register in July 😳. If something happens, we will go down to 1 car as a couple.

I’m currently driving a 2000 4Runner with 250k. Had to get a new brake booster the other day and the rms is starting to go. Really hoping it makes it without dumping too much money into it. I could drive my wife’s car if needed but it’s a little too fancy for me.

We’ve got a disastrous 16 Cruze LT that only has 89k on it but drives like 150k. It’s such a terrible car with random bugs. It’s going to our daughter as her first car. It was a lease but the wife drove excessively over her mileage allocation and we had no choice at the moment but to purchase. If we had done better on the mileage I would have ended up giving my daughter my 20 Corolla lease, purchasing that instead at the EoL. Way more dependable, safer, less wear, would easily later her until she’s ready to buy her own car as an adult. This Cruze? I wonder how it’ll last her till she’s 18.

I have a nice 2019 Mazda 3. The lease ends next month so I just bought it out. It's been nice not having payments, so maybe Ford will just keep their truck if they ever decide to build it.

We're a one car couple, but have been for over 10 years. We just traded our older car in for a new Mustang. So we're covered there.

Maverick will be first time with 2 cars.

2007 escape, 186k, typical escape rust bucket, exhaust leak, leaking rims.
Winters coming. Don’t want to spend down payment on fixing it!

2007 Taurus with 252K miles. I hope it makes it another year, but have my doubts.

I've got a 2008 Ford Ranger, needs new tires, but other than that I'm not worried. When I've taken it to my mechanic for something or other this past year, I've told him, "Come on, man, I just need it to last me ONE MORE YEAR." He laughs at me, every time, and says, "You can't kill a Ranger!!" These old Rangers will be running long after every Maverick has died.

My truck had better last that long after putting $5k into it the last few months. I will be treating it very nicely in the meantime. It could use some more work, but that's not happening.

2009 Fusion, under body is rusting significantly to the point my mechanic wanted me to get another car by last year. Ordered a '22 maverick and have had to roll over \ re-order a '23... The son's '16 focus and wife's '17 focus are good.

100%. I'm not getting rid of either of my vehicles to get the Maverick. just adding another. My 99 E150 van is just starting to get rusty, but only has 88K miles on it. It can go another 300K-400K easy if the body holds out that long. My 18 Mustang GT only has 3500 miles on it. Wifes car is a 2011 Subaru with 95K on it. Probably have at least 5 more years with that one. She may replace it with a Maverick later.

2010 GMC Terrain SLT AWD with 137,000 miles I can wait and I would still keep this vehicle as a daily until it dies. I just want Ford to quit not supplying things like AM radio and I want 2 keys! If they need to shut down for 3 months so be it!

I dated a girl who survived a horrific head on collision in a Cruze while we were together. The Cruze is alright by me.

I have several very dependable vehicles in the stable, so I am not in a hurry to get the Mav.
