At this point I just had a small piece of clear gorilla 2 sided tape. I wasn't sure that I like them so I took them off. They were really stuck on there, so I have no doubt that that stuff will work if I put them back on and use more.

So I wrapped it up tonight. I used a 3 wire 3/4 light. I wired the ground to the fender like everyone else. I ran the less bright wire down to the side marker in the bumper, and the more bright to the turn signals. I'm undecided on the smoked covers from Etsy.

Looks great. I got an EVOC duo for that reason. Haven't used it yet but it hides away nice behind the back seat .

Thank you. I installed some side markers/turn signals in the fender badge.That's a little too on and off and I didn't want to tap into the headlights themselves, so I went to the side marker in the bumper for the running light.

When using the auto headlights on an XLT, which lights come on during the day and at night?

On an XLT, the amber lights in the grille, are they on all the time? I just leave the switch in auto. Do those lights stay on as DRL and at night too? It's a little tough to tell from the driver's seat.

Hey, could you tell me which wires you tapped for running light and turn signal? Do you have an xlt or lariat? I'm looking to do this on my xlt.

Mine shipped on 1/25. Much to my surprise, my dealer called me yesterday, 2/16, and told me it has arrived at the dealer in New Jersey. Wonders never cease.

I ended up getting this pair of 3 wire LEDs to make them running lights/turn signals. And the smoked covers. We shall see. They're both in the mail, along with my truck.
