I have the standard radio and the tuner will not work..won't change stations , at all. Neither the dial or the buttons work. After a while it will act like it wants to then just stop trying. Works fine on bluetooth. Kind of a big miss to me, can't even listen to the radio.
As far as the truck , honestly to me it rides pretty rough and is pretty noisy..that being said , for the price , it's hard to beat. I only have 30 miles on it and mpg is showing 30.3. Will see as I drive it more.

Back to what can you expect for a sub 20K TruckMy XLT radio station search will work and randomly not work in a manner similar to what you have described. Hoping this issue will be corrected by firmware update. But if the issue only relates to firmware/software then why isn't EVERY XL/XLT experiencing?
Would hate to wait months and then find out this was a hardware issue on isolated builds.

I have an appointment Feb 12, we will see how that goes.Just an update for anyone that cares. Took the truck in to get the radio software updated. I don't know what they did when the downloaded the software , but now I have a "wrench light " ..trucks been there since Friday. They claim they don't have the manpower to work on it now. I think since it's probably their first Maverick "issue" they are just putting it off. Oh well, guess we will see what happens. All you guys with radio issues may want to wait a few months before taking yours in. May want to wait until the dealer techs get a few repairs under their belts.
Sorry that you are still dealing with this. My fix is working fine so I was fortunate. Took all day for the dealer to do the work which they claimed was something to do with the download... no specifics but didn't inspire confidence.Just an update for anyone that cares.
