Why couldnt they call it a Courier instead?

Seems weird they brought a car name back instead of a trucks name.

At first, I was like, "Why did they name it the same as a car they had out in the 1970s?" But now, the name is starting to grow on me! Plus, most younger folks have no clue that a Maverick car even existed. I would've also liked "F-100."

Should have called it a Ranger before giving the mid-size Ranger the name which that should be the F-100.

I agree it should of been Ranger and the current Ranger should be the F-100.

Courier sounds like it should be delivering mail. Besides they are talking about the possibility of bringing the courier to the US. It is smaller than maverick. I like the maverick name for the small truck.

Maverick or Courier Uh I am glad they went with Maverick because it's a bad ass compact truck.

in the late 70’s my courier had a built 302 windsor V8 and a doug nash 5 speed. still had whitewalls and stock hubcaps with the disc brake conversion and 9” rear. and a/c…..
towed my racecar back then!

I had a '78 Ford Courier, it was a great little truck! Built by Mazda, they called theirs the "B series"

My dad's courier served its purpose as a plain jane vehicle around town but it was only a four speed and over 55 mph about to blow the motor.

Courier name is boring. Maverick works with horse and western based names. Broncos, Mustang, Bronco Sport, Ranger
