Any Ecoboosts punching out 800 miles per tank like SOME of the hybrids do? There is a lot of convenience with going to a gas station 1 time per month, in my opinion.

You just qualified yourself by saying you don’t care about commute. The hybrid is designed for those who mostly do commute. The way I see it my turbo gets waaay better mileage than my Ranger but my commute is short so I really don't care about it. I'm in for the style and preformance
It was a few torq bolts to remove. Used door hinges on hardwood and the original bolts. Surprised Ford doesn’t give a $2 credit to leave it out. LolYou desperately need the elusive “delete rear seat cushion” option!
You do if you want to flat tow behind a motorhome.Hot summer trip from Chicago to Wisconsin with about 300 pounds of tools. ‘22 XL Ecoboost FWD

12 minutes to go 4.8 miles - you averaged 24 mph lol - there is no where I can go at that speed without being a traffic hazard - You can't buy time BrotherGot a record the other day. Over 62mpg and I wasn't even trying. Love my hybrid! Last tank I got 608 miles out of it! 36.9 is good but that would be worse case scenario numbers for my hybrid.

It's easy to get great mpg with they hybrid without trying. I usually do 5 over the speed limit. You can't buy Time ... for these amazing hybrid numbers if you notice the time traveled compared to distance is not achievable for all. Earlier post showed 20 mins I've gone almost 3X the distance and get 32- 34 mpg. For a Truck that is pretty impresive

5 over the speed limit in Texas will cause people to get very aggressive behind, beside and around you. Little to no speed enforcement is the reason, crazy. It's easy to get great mpg with they hybrid without trying. I usually do 5 over the speed limit.

Follow your logic and it gets down to who NEEDS anything other than food, water, medicine, shelter, etc. Most of our life is built around WANTS, not needs.Isn't that like asking who NEEDS a Maverick. Answer no body.
It gets down to wants.

In CT around town most do about 5 over but the highway forget it... You need to be doing 75-80 in a 65 to stay with traffic.5 over the speed limit in Texas will cause people to get very aggressive behind, beside and around you. Little to no speed enforcement is the reason, crazy.
Who drives 200,000 miles a year?Fuelly or 36.9 didn't happen![]()
If I drive totally normal I get 42 mpg in the hybrid. Where I live I never drive on the highway. 55 is pretty much the max I do on my country roads. My biggest hit to mpg is my 3 mile drive up hill to work; going back home it's 3 miles down hill.
I tried to hyper mile it in slippery mode, Fuelly says I only got 45mpg doing that. I did have to drive normal a few times and haul a few heavy loads on that tank. I don't get how people can get 50+ out of the hybrid unless it's rolling down every hill or pulsing to 50, gliding to 0, pulsing to 50, gliding to 0, pulsing to 50, gliding to 0, loose your mind, it's maddening enough trying to watch the hybrid meter to glide in slippery mode. There should just be a 'Hyper' mode for hyper hypermiling so you don't go crazy staring at the gauge cluster's hybrid power meter.
I'll still take 42 over that lying 36.9 (it's actually probably 34 if you did the math on paper or Fuelly, truck's computer lies). 8 mpg difference is big over the life of the vehicle.

That is not accurate at all.... I don't drive under 30... Only time I do is in my neighborhood but that's it... I do 99% of my driving back roads. Speed limits anywhere from 30-50. I usually do 5 over that. I also like to have fun and accelerate quick.. That does not calculate for sitting at lights, traffic stop signs and waiting in line to get a coffee. You can't buy time - But you can Save a Whale ... I get it -
