If shipped by rail, you can expect it to arrive somewhere between 2 to 8 weeks after the Shipped Date shown on Ford's Tracker website.

FWIW, mine sat in the railyard for around 3 weeks after it was unloaded from the train, awaiting pickup by truck transportation to my dealership. Total time from Built to Delivered was over a month. Your experience can and may vary.

Your salesman is correct. I would guess mid to late January for delivery.

In my case, Ford's date was incredibly wrong (overly optimistic) and my dealer's estimate was much closer. Your dealer is probably used to seeing how long it REALLY takes to get from Mexico to your location. How long that is can depend on a lot of different variables (not all trucks take the same route to the same dealer, apparently), and your salesperson has seen them in practice.

Note also that weather conditions can throw a wrench into any estimate.

Yep plan for around 8 weeks and if it gets delivered to your dealer sooner then they beat your expectations and you have no disappointments/frustration/anxiety. Know your excited and all but there's so many factors, in the end, it gets there when it gets there, nothing you can really do but be patient and wait it all out.

My Maverick went from Mexico to Nebraska before getting to California. Shipping took nearly 8 weeks.

If he uses it, my salesman didn't know my truck was about to be delivered (maybe he did?) even though I was at the dealer minutes before it arrived. I was sent on my way only to "discover" it was there the next day. They never told me it had arrived, I found out for myself and it had 50 miles on it already at delivery. No testing note. And I was proactive.

Personally, I would not have accepted it with 50 undocumented miles on it. PERIOD!

My 24 hybrid XLT had 48 miles when I bought it.
Salesman said from the train, to the truck, to the gas station, etc, added up the miles.

After 14.5 month wait and a good deal, I was not going to let 35 miles allow my Maverick to go elsewhere for a $5-10,000 mark up. Remember the period. We're talking Nov '23.
