My 23 XL was converted to a 24 XL. They say it is now in production. The question is how much more will the 24 cost me.
To answer to your question, XL price increased $805 and the hybrid power train is now a $1500 option. You should be entitled to some kind of rebate (TBD) to help defray some of that increase. (Edit) There was also a $500 increase in early February ($400 MSRP, $100 destination) that adds to current price.

Actually, the XL price went up $1,205 from 2022 to 2023 as it went up $400 on Feb 1 2023 when no one could order it anyway.
This way they can say the price only went up $805.
Think they will "price protect" that $400 too?
Me neither.

I doubt it would be never as Ford and my dealer like money. Im fine with a year can save my money and pay half of it off at time of pickup.
Good luck to you. Do some reading and research around here and see what other people have experienced. You will find that getting an XL in any length of time if ever is like winning the lottery. Doesn't matter if the dealer took your money or not. There are many people here who have ordered both in 22 and 23 and never got theirs. If you get yours you are Charlie with the golden ticket.

Some of you are pretty dramatic. Equating not building a Maverick to "killing a baby?"

I love my Mav, but come on now lol.

OP, you're probably going to be waiting about a year. And yes, there is a good possibility that you won't even get one (a 24, at least) at all. And while they do like money, I think there's very little profit in a hybrid XL, something around $500, so you are pretty low on the priority list from the get-go, unfortunately.

That being said, if you want a basic XL hybrid, there's a few on the lot here in Northern CA. $5k markup, but the MSRP is going up anyway, maybe you can talk them down to a 50% markup, and then you can take it home today, for a little more than you're going to spend anyway--but that will also hurt your down payment, I guess. All of them are white, too for whatever reason.

6-18 months. XL's are limited. Hybrid is limited.

On this forum, that combination is called a unicorn. Probably only built when a dealer has unused allocations. Check the allocations of the dealer and see if they will disclose how many they have.
Mine was scheduled after 9 months. Should have it by the anniversary. But yes, Many unicorns are not scheduled.

Some people talked about vanity plates that said "baby" since it takes longer to get a Maverick than a baby. ;)

Forgive me if this is posted everywhere everyday. I just ordered a basic 2024 hybrid XL trim today. Im just trying to get any indication of when it would come in to the dealer? I know production does not start until October. I would prefer 6 months or more so I can save more money for the downpayment. Any general timeframes would be appreciated.
Your ordered the rarest trim/ drive combo not to mention the 1000s of carry over from last year. I wouldn't hold my breath if you know what I'm saying.

Welcome to the wait game, best of luck.

I ordered Sept 2021 and got it in Dec 2022. Coworker ordered sept 2022 at the same dealer I did and they called today expecting delivery. It's impossible to know when or if you'll get one.

I was seriously considering ordering a XL Hybrid this year just so I could be at the top of the list for 2025 when there might be a refresh or some significant change(s). My 2022 XLT EB only has a little over 5k miles on it and I love it, so I'm not yet ready for a replacement. But, I might be in 2025 if there are interesting changes. What I really want is a AWD Hybrid. Can we imagine how constrained a XL Hybrid AWD will be whenever that arrives as a choice? :ROFLMAO:

We XL hybrid losers seem to have the same main interest in this truck advertised as an affordable hybrid. The inexpensive part - both in the price and gas milage.
That is not what Ford wants to build first.
We stand in line waiting for the people behind us who have made this $25,000 truck a $40,000 truck with butt warmers, dual climate controls (in a compact pickup), lane centering and adaptive cruise control.

I've heard of people getting their maverick in 2 months, and I've also saw on here some people are still waiting at 2 years. It took me 8 months to get my 23 Ecoboost.

Based on my ordering experience, expect at least a year from order day to pickup day.
