How about Leo, for short, and the name of my Maverick. It's also the Astrological sign under which my Maverick was built.

Nothing to do with Law Enforcement Officers, which was suggested in one of the other multitude of "Name That Truck" threads, in the threads list, below. ;)

I don't ever actually call the truck Leo, although I did change the truck's bluetooth ID to that.

The TARDIS..... seems bigger on the inside, and color wise a darn near perfect match.

Ollie. Looked like an Ollie to me, plus when I get excited to go for a ride I shout OLLIE! which sounds to the ear like the French "ALLEZ!" or "let's go!" I got him so he and I could adventure together.

Called mine " LilRed " because it HRP but also because prior to this truck I towed and drove a 2003 red Ford Sporttrac which I swore I'd never get rid of. WELL, Long came my Maverick, also red, so I continued with the name. Just sold my Sporttrac.

Hello everyone out there in Maverick land. A most important subject we all need to discuss now. The naming of our Mavericks. To start this out, I will proceed to provide the name of my new Maverick, once “He” arrives. First you will notice I referred to my new maverick as “He”. This is the first step in the naming process, determining if the Maverick will be a “He” or “She”. I have decided my new maverick will be a “He” and “His” name will be “MAX”. Now the story why I have made this decision. The first of the year, my wife and I purchased a new Toyota Venza, Ruby Red in color. Now since my wife will be the primary driver of this beauty, and the color is ruby red, it just seemed to fit calling the car “Ruby”. Ruby is a pretty car. Ruby just doesn’t go well as a He, so it only makes sense to call our Venza, She. So we call our Venza “Ruby” because she is pretty and red in color. She is an awesome car. Hybrid by the way. Now the reason why I’m naming my Maverick “MAX” is because he is just a little guy. A want-a-be manly truck. Just a play with words here. So my little Maverick is going to be “MAX”. Build his self esteem. Besides, Ruby needs a boyfriend and Max needs a girlfriend. Weird you are probably thinking to yourself at this time. Awe yes I must agree with you on that. All in good fun. The naming of your transportation is all in fun. Sounds better saying, ”Max” and I are going to the store vs. I’m taking the pickup to the store. So I would be interested in what everyone will be naming there Mavericks. I’m sure there will be many out there who will think I’m a nut case and don’t name their vehicles. That’s fine, you don’t need to respond to this. It will be interesting to hear some of the names you guys come up with. Big Red, Little Joe, Sweety Pie . . . Oh the possibilities are endless. Let’s hear the names you guys are coming up with. Hope to hear back.
Our 2023 XLT is painted Area 51. My wife named it BAM for Blue Alien Monster. We love BAM. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Got it Nov 3, 2023 right off the dealership floor. As of April 1, it has 1109 miles on it. Local driving only and being retired we don't go very far most of the time.

I'm not generally one to name my vehicle, but my spouse is and I liked his idea. So my 2024 Maverick Hybrid is named Vigor. It's a two part thing that only really means something to a very few people. The musician Webb Wilder has a song called Hybrid Vigor, so that's one part. And as you can see my handle here and name I generally go by is Vvoman, which makes up the second part. So when my spouse talks to others about my Maverick he calls it "vvoman's vigor". I know we're weird... but it's the fun and cheeky kind of weird.
