  1. A little something for the 3D printing folks

I printed it at 100% (~150mm length). I resized but the sliced model looked just as bad at any scale.
  2. A little something for the 3D printing folks

Thanks for the confirmation and the advice. I did see that the preview looked like crap. I printed the body anyway so others wouldn't waste the time if it turned out like I was seeeing.
  3. A little something for the 3D printing folks

Slicer is Bambu Studio on P1S. I hope someone with better skills can get it to work. As TwuckHappens replied, I don't think this model is for 3D printing. I don't think there is enough detail in the model.
  4. A little something for the 3D printing folks

When I saw this model, I was excited to print it. I printed the body first just to get an idea of the quality. I am very disappointed. As Kofad said, there are a lot of supports needed. I was going to remove the supports before taking a photo; but I realized the whole model would just fall...
  5. Funny: Confirmation that Mav owners (one in particular) can be dumb...

My FOBs... The choice should have been obvious (the one that says Maverick). ...Brain fart excused.
  6. Funny: Confirmation that Mav owners (one in particular) can be dumb...

We all do things that are dumb in life. Some dumber than others.... Yesterday, when leaving for an appointment, I was unable to unlock Trucklet Destroyer of Worlds due to a dead battery. The forum posts regarding dead battery issues had now come to me. It was 5 degrees in Chicago. So I added...
  7. Center console lid now feeling loose

Same with mine. The felt came loose. I reattached and problem solved.
  8. Pair two phones

I use an AAWireless Adapter (AAWireless.io). From their website FAQ: " Can I connect multiple phones to AAWireless? Yes, but just one of them will launch and control Android Auto. It is, however, very easy to switch between phones that are connected to your AAWireless device. The AAWireless...
  9. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

Wow! Thanks for taking the time to test your setup. It gives me confidence I can't go wrong with mine. Thanks!!!
  10. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

Great info. Thanks! I have a voltage monitor/cutoff connected to the OBD port to power the "Parked Mode" feature of my dashcam. I have that set to 12V cutoff. I know it's a different circuit from the 12V, 110 and USB outlets. If my Mav is parked in the dark/empty garage not triggering the...
  11. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

Thank you for the suggestion! I had wanted to change the Power Point Timeout to somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes (retain power when stopped for gas or something). Although I can't find the thread now, I seem to remember posts stating that the ability to keep power to the 12V was eliminated in...
  12. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

You have to remove the D-hook and cubby. Attach the 12V whip and route to the back of the cubby. Tip: Cut the square/rounded corner hole in the cubby to just circle the connections leaving surface for the mounting screws. Re-install the cubby and then attach the panel. You won't be able to...
  13. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

Yes. I added this to the cubby tapping off the 12V whip. It only stays powered while the engine is running. I have an Ecoflow Delta 2 power pack (left side of bed pic) to power the fridge while stopped. The combo lasts me for 3 days while camping. If needed, the Ecoflow can be recharged from...
  14. What cooler fits in the bed, with divider, with tonneau?

You can't see my divider since it's painted black. This 12V fridge is a perfect fit and keeps perfect temp from freezer to fridge temps. https://euhomy.com/collections/car-refrigerator-1/products/portable-car-refrigerator...
  15. I Hate the Stupid Dial Shifter: Now With Poll

I have had a stupid mental malfunction from day 1 that is going to cause me to punch my Mav into a parking meter or garage wall... When stopping to park or execute a 3-point turn, eyes looking to the side or rear, I continually turn the dial 2 clicks to the right for reverse rather than left...
  16. Whats your mpg?

Reset your MPG display. I was discouraged for the first 1,000 miles when I saw everyone's post of 26-29 mph on their 2.0 EB while I was only showing 16.5. I reset the MPG display before taking a 200 mile highway trip and got 30 mpg on the trip. Most of my driving is 3-5 miles on local trips. So...
  17. Wireless Android Auto

Yes. My issue had AA locked up for some reason. Neither "OK Google" or the steering wheel button would wake up AA. Unplugging/plugging the USB was the only fix. It's only happened twice and is probably more of an issue with the AAwireless and AA on my phone rather than the Mav.
  18. Wireless Android Auto

I use the AAWireless connected with these USB-A to C adapter and a short USC-C cable. I velco'd the AAWireless under the dash and totally forget it's there. I have my Maverick set to not display the AA screen automatically since I often listen to my Mav's FM Radio. I have had an occasional issue...
  19. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

Trucklet Destroyer of Worlds goes camping... And loves it!
  20. What Did You Love or Hate About Your Last Vehicle Before Maverick?

I loved my 12 year old Audi A7 :). I hated that my wife totaled it . Being retired from my business career, it made no sense to own another pricey sedan. My retirement hobbies include woodworking, gardening and camping. The Maverick is a perfect replacement.
