What's your engine Breaking-In Period plan?

I tried that... kept a tank of nitrous oxide in the car all the time just in case.

But I think it may have leaked a bit as I am missing part of 2018 and all of 2019.

In the 90's I was dating a girl and offered to change her oil and she said no need I just add oil when it gets low. Apparently she had lost her engine oil cap and didn't replace it (I always lose them she said) and just added oil as it burned off. I opened her hood and underneath it was completely black. I changed the oil and bought a new cap and wired it to the engine so she couldn't lose it.

I assume that the tires are aired up in Mexico. My Maverick is tentatively scheduled to arrive in Wisconsin by December 25. The first thing that I will do is replace the Mexican air with Wisconsin winter air.

Well there you go. That proves you are right. Just keep driving with old dirty oil so you have more time and money to spend with beautiful women. The rest of us will continue to waste time and money putting clean oil in our engines, because we bought into the lie that your engine will last longer if you change your oil.

I suggest you fill them with pure spring water and run them that way for a few weeks. Then drain them and put in Utah air (not as big a shock to the system) for a while. After a couple of more weeks you can replace that with Wisconsin air. But, if you really want the best performance, you should switch that for Canadian air before spring.
