What is your maintenance plan for your transmission in the Ecoboost?

Well this got interesting quick

I plan on keeping my Maverick for at least 10-15 years. So I guess I'm in a bit of a different situation than most who trade up every few years or until their extended warranty runs out. I know I will have my truck outside the warranty so I just want to do the best I can to prevent problems.

Ask about a fluid, any fluid, and the thread will get “interesting”.

I’m sure on the EV Forums there are tons of “interesting” threads on “how often should I charge my battery?”.

I tried this once, and only once. I ended up high centered on the front ramps, and shot one of my rear ramps into the street where it was hit by a Pastor headed to church. No more "Cool ass" for me.
I'm sure I should have drove up on the front 2 then jacked it up and placed the ramps under the rear. Or whatever is the opposite of the shit show I created the first time.

You have to go up the ramps slowly. Don't "gun" it!

I've done this many times without an issue...just drive right up them.

Well now im just nervous... LOL. I will try it with the maverick in about 5K miles. Doing my drain/fill at 30K

The Ford ULV is synthetic

had trusted shop( mennonite guys,they stand behind their work) for better or worse they completely flush system,trans works fine,may never bother it again,will eventually do transfer system and rear diff.

I check mine at every 30k and then also have the dealer do it to have it on record that the fluid is good for warranty purposes. Once it gets to a very dark amber or brown is when it gets flushed and changed. Service manual shows exactly how to do it, so when the time comes I'll do it myself.
