Complete rear seat delete, including the FITS built-in equipment locker thing. I almost never carry passengers and will use the back almost exclusively as a 'trunk'. A larger, flatter, bigger space back there would be incredible and a lot more flexible. I'd replace those little lockers with a single heavy duty tote that gives more space and I can remove it or push it around as needed.

I'm sure what I'll have delivered is fine for my purposes, but after spending some time in an older F-150 Platinum, I'm really quite jealous of that flexibility.

mine would be memory for the electric seats. It’s a pain after the wife drives my truck to find just the right setting that I had before.

I wish there was a one and a half foot door version with an extra foot bed. Have a 12.5 foot kayak and will be using more bungee cords than with my current 2012 Chevy Colorado.

Whoa... That seems like a lot of kayak hanging out the back end (6.5' roughly). Do you support the bottom portion of the kayak hanging out the back with a hitch extender, etc.? I've got to haul a 12' kayak about 20 miles to a launch for an upcoming trip and ordered a last minute clamp on rail kit and j-bars to use with my mav, but am not convinced I'll like the set up much.

I wish I could open the windows & sunroof remotely with the fob, the "Global-Open Windows" feature. It would be nice to cool it off before climbing inside.

Rain-sensing automatic windshield wipers would be nice, too. I had a 2012 Mazda with it and it was great. I don't know why it's not more common. Speaking of rain, the automatic headlights don't come on when it's raining. It has to be pretty dark for them to come on. Shouldn't the wipers being on signal the headlights to come on?

This one is a bit petty, but the three buttons on the steering wheel to turn up, turn down, and mute the radio - it would be nice if one had a little nub so you could feel which one you're touching.

I have a build date that has been moved several times, with a current date of October 3. I have had it on a 2012 Chevy Colorado with roughly a third hanging out using bungee cords for years with no issues. I know with the Maverick it will be about 50 percent ( haven’t decided if I will have the tailgate in the 45 degree angle or not and if I will position the boat diagonally). Currently I don’t tie the handle on the end that sticks out. I will start to do that with the Maverick. With delivery at November 3 at the earliest, I may not even get it until it is too cold. I used to kayak until Thanksgiving, but now I usually stop by November 1. Could be Spring before I even take it out.

Well, common wisdom suggests not taking your eyes off the road while driving. And if I have to look down for the button it sort of defeats the purpose of having it on the steering wheel. I can just reach over to the volume knob.
