What's behind my XLT back seat is an annoying stretch of bare metal with too many exposed and fragile car electronics and the like. Instead of a protective plastic trim piece. I'd pay real money for an aftermarket trim piece for the rear bulkhead - so I could leave the rear seats down 24x7.
Yeah I have a lariat lux to much electronic crap back there. I'd be afraid of damage putting anything back there.

My Maverick will be my first truck. I've read I should carry kitty litter in the truck. Have any of you had to use kitty litter to get your truck out of mud or anything like that?

Old-school kitty litter is basically dried clay. If you put it on ice, it will provide some traction for a minute or so before it turns into mud. If you put it on mud, I would guess it would soak up the water and turn into more mud...

When stationed in Alaska, styrofoam beads from a old beanbag chair served the same purpose of providing a grip on sheet ice.

I've got an old skinny tin box with a handle originally used for storing slide photos that I repurposed as a small tool box. Fits perfect behind the rear seat. Stored it the same way in my Tacoma for 20 years!
Photo, please!

No.
And you can't charge an iPhone by putting it in the microwave.

That's a tip for old rear wheel drive vehicles to add weight to the back.

So no.

Yes, I rarely have back seat passengers, and the headrests interfere with back window visibility. I can always slide them back in if needed.
As soon as I bought my Maverick, I removed the rear headrests and put them under the back seat. I never have back seat passengers.

When I'm off-roading, I keep 2 of my old worn out thick floor mats in the bed of the truck...work great for getting out of ditches when stuck.

I had no idea that was back there. I'm thinking now... but my truck isn't here right now. What do you think the maximum dimensions would be of something that could fit back there. I may try to find a storage bag/container if someone could get measurements. I'll post what I find. Thanks for the idea(s)!
