I have the continentals, and over 15k miles. Been rotating every 6k. Still looking good so far. Going to swap them for some steelies and winter tires at the end of the month then put them back on in the spring

Over 7K miles on the stock Contis with no rotation and they still got a lot of life left in them!

I have 17,000 plus and the Continentals look almost new. I rotate with each oil change

Did anyone get the Michelin's? I am seeing a lot of mentions of the Continentals but haven't seen anyone comment on the Michelins.

I have a 22 lariat hybrid and just got a 23 xlt hybrid for my son
Replace oem tires with Michelin defender on both
Major difference in ride and handling
Noise level is very low
Love them

So I'm at discount tire getting a tire repaired as I picked up a screw on my way home from work last night. The tire tech I spoke with said I'm going to need new tires soon.

I have less than 13k miles on these tires, has anyone else had to replace their tires before 15k miles?
My Michelins at 11K are doing fine so far...

22k on Pirellis and still lots of tread left. Regular rotations with 5k oil changes.

My 2023 Lariat AWD came with the same Michelin models I had on my Santa Cruz that had 35000 miles on them and they looked good for at least another 10K.

I have over 20k on my factory Pirellis and they look great. I think they will go another 30k. I do rotate them at every 5k Oil Change.
No Pirellis on my XL - have the factory Continentals. Picked up a nail in June and had one tire replaced. No comments from the tire place about replacing all of them. Presently have 23K. I'll buy new tires when it's time. Until then, they're getting rotated with every oil change.

Good hearing everyone's take, I figured it was bullshit, my tires still look really good. Ill at least be able to get another 7k miles out of them.

From what I was told in talking with a tire engineer and then confirmed by the manager of the tire store I was using, The compound is different on the OEM tires. Our 2014 Ford Edge Limited went through its tires in 20 K. The same brand replacement bought at the tire store mentioned above are still on the car. They will probably last the life of the car. I am expecting the Continentals on the new Mav to wear out at about the same rate.

The tires on the Escape that I traded in were shot at 33,000. Normally I get 50-55,000 on a set. Right now with 5,000 miles on the Maverick the fronts treads are .242 deep on the front and .250 on the rears. I used a engineering type vernier to check them. The tires were at 37ps (@ 40 degrees)i, I normally carry them at 40 - 42psi in warm weather, time to add some air.I might ad when it gets down to -20 degrees the pressure will drop to less than 25 psi.
