What did your maverick replace?

My 2025 Eruption Green Lariat Hybrid replaced my 2012 Nissan Frontier with 247K miles. Hoping this Maverick has as long a trouble free life!!!

Replace a 2013 transit connect. Actually purchased 2 identical units. Waiting for the caps and decked systems and they will be ready for service.

Mine replaced the family beater '16 Outback. For a few years during and after the pandemic I lost interest in cars. Sold my last fast'ish car ( VW GTI) in '19 and drove the outback for a few years as nothing on the market Interested me until the Maverick '25 refresh came along.

It replaced my 2003 seven passenger Ram Van "no build" camper that needed an engine rebuild to pass California smog. I went from a minimalist camper van build to a (what I hope to keep) minimalist truck bed camper build. Both were/are my daily drivers

It replaced my 2000 Ford Ranger, my first truck, which I owned for many years until it got stolen out of my driveway in 2023. Got it back, but it was damaged pretty bad so sold it to my mechanic for him to fix up and resell if he wanted (he did). I liked the looks of the Maverick when it first came out, so used this as an excuse to purchase my almost-new (479 miles at delivery) Maverick from CarMax. I loved the Ranger, but the Maverick is hands down much more comfortable and roomy for my near-retirement-age self to ride in and the bed still big enough for the small hauling jobs I have.

I actually used the same accessport for the Mav. Just had to pay to get the update. My cousin still has his sti if I need the speed fix lol

Our first Maverick (2023 XL hybrid) replaced a well-loved and incredibly tough 2010 Ford Escape. Awesome vehicle that just kept going and going. This winter i picked up a low(ish) mileage 2022 Maverick (XLT, ecoboost) to replace a 2015 Ford Fiesta that really was a decent little car that gave us very few problems. These Mavericks have big shoes to fill!

How do you like the tune on the Mav btw

Tune is good, raised the top speed limiter and has some nice pep to it. I want to get a custom tune though after I install a downpipe.

Did not really replace, more like added to my collection. (went from 13 mpg to 40mpg)

It will be replacing my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek. I love my Subaru but at the time I bought it, I was living in an urban area and if I needed a truck I could easily rent one. Now I live in a very rural area and the ability to just rent a truck is gone. I need a truck, but still need something with solid mpg for daily driving. The Maverick fits this need perfectly!

I actually wanted to get a Mav when they first came out in 2022 but supply chain issues and price gouging from dealers made it near impossible. Settled on the Crosstrek because I already owned a Subaru and liked the brand.
