My dealer offered exactly what Carvana (or CarMax?) offered, so I said "Kewl!! Bye, old car!" I got a check for the full amount at a bank five minutes up the road and drove my new Mav away. Easy as could be.

I had a 2016 Subaru WRX. Lady that was looking at her phone instead of paying attention, plowed into my car and totaled it. She didn't even have insurance. Fun times. Insurance payed me more than I paid for it and gave me a nice down payment for my Maverick. I really like the Maverick... I also really miss my WRX.

Sorry. I see this ALL the time, even while waiting for the light to change. I mean, seriously, can't do without the phone for a light change? Then, what happens is they are late getting through the light or left turn arrow and you're left at the light. Really annoying.

I have an 88 shelby Z as well. T top turbo ll car in daytona blue metallic pearlcoat. I already rebuilt the engine and trans. Car is sitting in the corner of my shop waiting for its turn after I finish the restoration of a 69 barracuda with my son.

Going to keep my daily driver 2008 chevy HHR LS 5 speed wagon. It needs 2 front lower control arms. Cheap to buy, easy to change, and the windshields cracked. Will get a glass place to change it. Car only costs me $200 a year in liability insurance. Gonna keep it as a beater.

funny that! Mine is blue t-too only auto turbo I. Needs a lot of work, and loves to leak gas every time I fix it. I replaced all fuel lines, guess I’ll keep cranking down the hoses haha.
It’s a garage baby and I’ve maybe put 300 miles on it in 8 years.

Use fuel injection rated hose, and fuel injection rated hose clamps. These are smooth and dont cut into the fuel line. Only 290 daytona shelbys were made with Daytona blue metallic paint for 1988. Got this info from chrysler historical. Further broken down only 25 in that color with T tops. Mine was built at the end of 1988. It is 1 of 1699 daytonas of all type made in 1988 with the airbag. Plus it's a turbo ll 5 speed, and has a rear wiper. Far as I can tell mine is a 1 of 1 optioned car. There were more 5 speed daytona shelby's made than automatics. Yours is a pretty rare one as well. It's a blue t top 1988 model. It's one of 25 built. With the automatic trans it could be possibly be 1 of 4 or 5 made

Traded in my 2010 Fusion. It was sold with in a week.. Kinda shocked but someday took it rather quickly! Maybe it went to auction doubtful.

OP Here..

My truck is now at the dealership! Picking her up in a couple of days. The dealership has now gone up on their trade in offer from 17,500 to 20,500. My carvana offer is 20,800. I am going to just trade it in now. The trade in tax credit makes it even more worth it im guessing.

I tried to trade in my 2010 Mazda 3 when I was picking up my Mav but the dealer didnt want anything to do with it so I drove it over to Carmax and they cut me a check for 5k. Was super easy and I got more than I was planning on as a trade in.
