Not great to hear, as I have an order with Evergreen. They did claim to accept X-plan though, so maybe that changed.
Perhaps they have. When I asked them in July if they accept it, one of their sales guys told me the difference in price between MSRP and X plan "wasn't that big."

I saved around $1000 with it...

Orchard Ford in Kelowna, BC, Canada.

MSRP, super easy process, good trade value without having to negotiate, etc. My salesperson even got me a Christmas card with a travel mug and a referral bonus because one of my staff ordered a maverick as well.

I adored her. Some idiot texting did 12k in damage to it. I tried to find another, but couldn't with the cold weather package.
I love mine but I have only ever seen one other in the wild. I talked to someone on jalopnik that had one otherwise nothing. IIRC Ford claimed the take rate was 5% for that package so they didn't sell too many.

Hopkins Ford in Elgin IL was at invoice when ordered. Haven’t taken delivery yet. I had a great experience at Granger Ford in Granger IA with my Bronco. They were and may be still doing 3% under invoice on Mavericks.

Everything on their lot is a 20-30% markup from the price on the website. Would avoid buying one on the lot. They also have a ton of hybrids, all customer orders that 'fell through" and subsequently were put for sale at over MSRP. Shady vibes here.
Not shady IMO. When my son talked to them at my delivery they told him to order rather than buy off the lot because stock prices are crazy. Basically, you will pay for instant gratification but save big if you can be patient. They are and were very open about the current state of stock vs ordering. I have no problem with that, they left the decision up to the buyer and they didn’t try to push the stock vehicles. I appreciate anyone being straight up and presenting the options to the buyer. My son had no problem waiting and his F-150 is expected in late Spring.

I put snow tires on mine as I didn't know when my mav was arriving but now that it's here those are coming off so I can get back into the 40s for mpg.

It's weird because AFAIK, X-Plan means they are getting reimbursed by Ford anyway, so it's either a matter of laziness or hoping to get every last cent out of every sale.

I've usually had salespeople say similar to me when using Supplier discounts, when I got my Maverick at a dealer in MI he said much the same but was very careful to frame it in the full context of "You only save 750$ with X Plan, compared to the larger savings with A / Z / D". Moreso leveling expectations than anything.
