That seems like the solution but invariably that would need more than a "simple" software "fix". Likely the charging circuit was designed to charge at a certain current. Similar to a laptop's charger. Unless a higher wattage charger is available for the laptop, no amount of coding in the laptop is going to make the laptop charge faster without the new charger.I almost wonder if they could somehow program the hybrid battery to stay on a little longer after the truck is turned off to top off the 12v. Although I could see that being a safety issue as well. The only other option would be to increase the amps on the DC-DC converter so that fix. you always have a full battery once the truck is shut off.
