Something I just thought about, that's going to catch a lot of air and put a whole lotta (sorry for the fancy engineering term) torque on that hitch and knuckle assembly. Might want to beef up the metal around where the pin goes through on the hinge.
it has a width of 59" and a side door. When you include the wheel wells, not sure how you'll get into it.
Edit: NVM, see now I was looking at the double version, the single is 39" wide. Oops.
Never claimed to be smart, but if the transmission doesn't have a reverse gear there can only be one thing that makes the Maverick Hybrid go backward...
There was some speculation that part of the reason for the hybrid limit was the lack of a reverse gear in the transmission. Getting the extra load going backwards will eat up battery power fast.
Is your phone still setup to connect to your Mav with bluethooth? The little blurb on Amazon says (Before you start, let your phone forget about the regular Bluetooth/Wifi connection to the car)
It's not as good as brakes, of course, but putting the Hybrid into L will reduce speed quite a bit in an emergency. You'll still get into the accident but it will take a bit longer to get there.
I went with this one.
