My guy emailed me that they have a way now to get it ordered. thinking xlt, lux, 4k tow. I'd like green, but because of the electric neon blue accents, I'm leaning towards space white. going to a dealership later to look at it in person.

I'll keep my Ford tri-fold bed cover. I won't really get any extra value if I leave it on my current Mav, and it'll save me a grand.

My order was supposed put in, but I have no actual confirmation in anyway. My salesman texted me a order sheet, but the sheet has:

“This order has not been submitted to the order bank.” at the bottom of it and the form says “Preview Order” at the top.

so no idea where I stand currently.
Me too, what does this mean? Has some 3digit order code, sales code. Priority code 5 ( that doesn't sound good) etc but doesn't seem like what is needed to say it's a firm order and in the order book....? What do I ask the dealer?

Priority code of 5 would be considered very good at probably 99% of dealerships since the default is 19. Lower is better and 2 is the lowest. But there is a chance your dealer is putting them all at 5. It only matters within a dealership, so if everyone is a 5, that is the same as everyone being a 19. Or everyone being a 10. The code is internal to each dealership's orders.

I'm on my phone, but can post an example of what would be a "good sign" later. What you describe sounds like a pretty good sign though. The missing email does concern me (and others), but it seems like NOBODY has gotten theirs. Even some dealership employees who entered their own orders.

Good question. We haven't had any interest in that yet. Our Maverick sales are almost all XLT and XL.
I don't think I can recall anyone out here actually wanting ProTrailer features on any truck!

But if we did... I'd probably place an order at priority 99 (which puts it on hold for scheduling). That way I'd see the order in the system, and would then update to priority 03 it when the ProTrailer features are available.
@KevCuRaoi,

I have an order "in process" for a '25 XLT/Lux/360/4K tow, et.al. ... I have asked if 'Pro Trailer Assist' can be added to the XLT trim? No answer from my dealer yet ... any idea?

Edit: Just found the @fordvideoguy's post indicating PTBA & PTHA is a 'no go' for XL & XLT ...

FordVideoGuy in recent post said the dealer can't assign a 99 priority code.
If you must have ProTrailer then you need to wait to order.

Ford has at times restricted use of 99, so I'm not surprised.

"See below: My guess is September is when will begin taking orders on the 2025. Usually there is 2-4 weeks down time from close of one (ed. model year) to open of another

Please notify your team that the final day to submit new retail orders for the 24MY Maverick and the 24MY Bronco Sport is August 9th, 2024. "

Hope this helps someone.

why MY24 and not MY25?
I'm curious too. Is it because the front end is NOT ugly? Or because 2.0 has more power and less emissions equipment? Or because you can order awesome Silver paint color? Or because the HVAC controls are superior in 2024? Or because you can order FWD Lariat in 2024?

More power, less emissions =RESTRICTIONS . HVAC controls easier & practical to use. (repairs...) . Smaller MSRP on XLT with towing, 360, and Black appearance packages. FRONT end we personally like MUCH more the old model

this point exactly, it looks like current EV design language. Also the color I'd like (green), doesnt go with interior and I'm not sold on space white.

Haven't put in my order yet, may not. maybe MY26 will have different interior choices and paint. Big maybe, they'll have a Mav "classic" front end option at no charge.

I know what you mean, with my '25 order I went with Eruption Green but got the BAP to help the interior. Saw a Space White Mach-E at the dealer (posted pics in another thread) and really liked it, wife liked it as well so I think I'm going to change the order to Space White and drop the BAP because the Smoked Truffle interior looks pretty good with Space White also saves me nearly $1700.
