You can't order from through site. You can build a Maverick but upon submission your information gets passed to a dealer. Then you contact that dealer, they contact you, or you choose a different dealer altogether and THEN the purchase process begins. You will talk to them about the actual build, costs, fees, required deposits, COVP, etc. and work with them directly. All orders go through a physical dealer -not the site. The site does almost nothing other than provide general build numbers and start the conversation with one dealer they select local to you. But you can choose anyone else.RE: Video. My question is, HOW does a retail customer order a Maverick from the FoMoCo website? I do not see any links. I did a "build and price" and nothing popped up to the effect we will take your order and deliver it to a local dealer. I tried "let us find it for you" and it has a form and refers to a local dealer. But, assuming it is possible, do they not collect $$$ to insure people don't just order things they have no intention of purchasing? Is there a COVP? And don't dealers have a franchise agreement regarding "protected" territory? The story in the video about ordering from FoMoCo doesn't make sense. Anyone?
He didn't really provide any helpful lawyer/legal input on these matters. Everything he shared was just factual reporting any average Joe could find and share.from an attorneys point of view.
Thanks - that is what I thought. However, if you watch/listen to the video that started this thread, you get the idea of what I wrote and that just didn't seem right.
