I will just tell you what I learned during my 10 months wait. No matter what you do, it won’t make it happen any faster. Check everyday or every month it’s still coming when it comes. I personally would rather get on the dealer for info everyday than Ford chat. The dealer is the onethat should be working for their money!
I'm very aware.

Just tell me what's wrong with checking the status of MY order that I made using MY money on a HYBRID SCHEDULE ONLY WEEK?

Depends entirely on the dealer. Not everyone is a good dealer. Sad that it has come to this, but tracking as much as you can, especially at points of cancellation, reorder, dealer deadlines, built status, delivery, etc. Too many tales here of problems with ignorant dealers, sloppy dealers, crooked dealers, etc. I think my dealer is doing fine, but I keep updating him, not the other way around.

Stop wasting those poor minimum wage workers time and do it to your dealer instead.....but on a serious note there is nothing wrong and technicly you havent bought anything so its not your money, yet...lol
the deposit is.... lol

I never said I bought anything.

I said I made an order.

Clear difference. You should know if you were really waiting 10 months.

Precisely. When someone orders from a far away dealer (Except a very few, like Long-McArthur) doesn't allow for you to visit and you take a risk.

My dealer is about 3 miles away and since ordering, at each inflection point in this long process, they got at least one visit. Multiple visits were needed in the 11/14-11/30 time period.

I had previously asked them to let me know when an ordered Lariat came in, as I had only seen the XLT they had and wanted to see it in person. I saw it come on the pretend inventory that Ford put on their website and called. He assured me that he would contact me when it got there. When he did not, I knew what sort of person I was dealing with and acted accordingly.

Visiting them is a little hard because ever since I ordered military expedited my PCS and made me move across the country. I've been calling them every time. If you have any suggestions I'm all ears.

grats for scheduling! at that point there really should be no hiccup, unless the factory somehow decides to go on a strike tomorrow...

lucky you! I'm going to drop everything on my order and see what happens, fingers crossed!!!!
I ordered Hybrid XLT lux + couple add-ons do not remember what on 8/27/21 and after Never dropped or changed anything. Scheduled and rescheduled 8-10 times. Picked up at dealership 10/17/22. I took position what was ordered was ordered and not knowing how the database is structured by some programmer and how the access order of the database could or would be changed if a change was made I elected to let it ride. I did order a hybrid XLT plus hitch and 400 inverter in case the one with lux was not built. Who knows if dropping something will help or not. I probably would drop the cross bars and not worry about the hitch as it should be lined up at this point.

Hopefully. I don't know what all is actually is in that pkg. I got the lux pkg which had additional tie down and the side rails with the latchable sliders. I understood you were also getting the cross bars that go across the bed from side to side. Those were separate items when I ordered. But maybe they were included in that special package. I am going to check out this. In any case maybe you can get him to remove that package. Good luck.

that "package" simply SIBL +Tiedown. Two standalone addons that result in a discount. My dealer was trying to upsell.

I've been checking with ford customer chat every day this week due to hybrid schedule week. Last week, I was Unscheduled - Clean.

I just checked, and is now Unscheduled - Material Hold. I have a Hybrid XLT with standalone hitch, SIBL/Cargo package.

Anyone have any idea why? Can't be due to the SIBL/Cargo, they're encouraging people to add it. Really leaning towards removing the hitch...

EDIT: It's not the hitch. I called FLEET and they verified "Hold bed cross bars late available". That's most likely the cargo management bar that my dealer added to upsell. Regardless, I'm dropping the hitch.
The Bed Rail Crossbars DIO is late availability. If your dealer selected that option instead of the Cleat Tie Down Kit C (Cargo Management System/6 D Link Connectors) then your order is incorrect and will not be selected for scheduling.

All this is making me nuts. I'm finally scheduled for next week (after 15 months) and I'm hoping for no last minute nonsense. The shipping thing will be another hurdle. My XLT has a hitch and a bunch of things on it, don't know if that ever slowed it down. Hope you get scheduled soon.
It's worth the wait.got my xl on 2/14 hybrid. So far it's unbelievable. Be patient.
