I too have been waiting since September of 2022, my dealer tells me that there are seven others waiting along with me, this will be my first Ford, so I'm dealing with a dealer I know nothing about.

I've bought from this dealer before and was satisfied with the service. It's a small town Ford Dealer so that might explain the long wait. I just don't understand how those ordering in 2023 are getting their trucks a lot quicker! It's frustrating but this is the truck I want.

Mine was supposed to have been delivered on the 14th of this month. Then I called a few days before that and it got changed to Feb 8th. Argh! But then I called the next week, and it changed again - to Feb 22nd! Double Argh!

And then I called last week, and it was one town over on its way. What?! And then I got it yesterday!

The whole process sucks, but it'll get there eventually.

Received a text today form Ford that production on my 2024 Ranger XL will start on March 4th.

January 16th. And no sooner did I make the production comment, I received another text from Ford stating production will now start on the 11th.

Ok, so I think my projected delivery was 1/16 - 1/31 prior to the Ford tracker going belly up on me (see screenshot).

Calling and e-mailing my Ford dealer in that period gets me "we'll let you know when it's here" and that's it.

How many of you had yours come in after the projected delivery window with no updates?

Addition info: My dealer isn't far away, but no I haven't stalked their lot. I do plan to tomorrow though.

I have stalked the maverick inventory checker and never see any available Mavs there.

Alright, it finally showed up. Headed in to pick it up tomorrow. Honestly, this whole wait totally took the wind out of my sails. I'm not excited at all, I'm partly in disbelief, and partly wanting to keep my money in my pocket.

Still need the vehicle cause my old one is on its last legs, but seriously... if I didn't I might just walk away. Way to kill the joy auto industry!
