I believe I may have the oldest order on here. I am sure there are many more that don't post here. I am not dropping a thing, just going to wait it out. If it takes until 23' then that is what it is. I want the Lux package.
I'm really surprised by this one. Did you ever receive a confirmation from FORD, and also that your dealer did the ROVP?

Yes, the confirmation was on July 5th, I ordered July 3rd. I have spoke to the dealer and it is all in there. Also called Ford Customer Service and they have it in the system and the rep I spoke too was also a little surprised it hadn't had a build date yet. I was told once that all components were there for it, "it just hadn't been pulled". So I have no idea.

It makes me feel better that most of the people who posted ordered in November, December, or January. That means EB builds are actually close to caught up.

Are you sticking with keeping the Ford provided/purchased " soft cover"? If so, you will be waiting a long time...... Why not drop it, order one online, have it delivered next week, then install it when your truck arrives?

I don't even have a build date yet, so there is no next week. As far as dropping the soft cover I will if the dealer says so but so far I don't think that is a big hold up.

When I say "next week", I mean order a bed cover from an online retailer and it will ship and arrive by next week. Then it sits in your garage until your truck is built and delivered.

The bed covers are absolutely a holdup for Ford selecting trucks to build. There is zero question about it. Have you read any of the "constraint" threads? Soft Bed covers are like.....16% of builds will be picked. If there are 100 people wanting the bed cover you ordered, a max of 16 will be picked for production. And that is assuming you don't have other constraints working against you (spoiler alert, you do.....). Bed covers are one of the most constrained items, and have been for MONTHS.

Don't take my word for it.

Commodities / Constraints

Spray-in Bedliner - 47% (56% of current builds)
Cargo Management System - 46% (54% of current builds)
CoPilot 360 - 42% (57% of current builds)
XLT Lux - 15% (29% of current builds)
Lariat Lux - 12% (25% of current builds)
Bed Cover: Soft Cover - 16%
Bed Cover: Hard Tri-fold - 2.5%
Bed Cover: Roll-Up - 3%
Bed Extender - 2%
Bed Mat - 2%

* The percentages mean how many Ford can build with that item / option. Currently for example, Spray-in Bedliner says 47% -- so the maximum Ford will schedule currently will be 47% of builds with this option.

Very few of September orders… 18th for me, and I saw one other ordered on the 4th…. Hopefully those of you with really old orders will get done real soon. It looks like maybe, just maybe Ford is getting caught up on orders. At least I’m hoping so. Good Luck!

Yep, I have seen the posts. I did ask for it to be removed and have not heard back on that as of yet.
