Unpaid Maverick Sales Advocate !

Have you been inducted into the Maverick Sales Team lately like we have? I'm wondering if the upcoming holiday season is causing this or some other dynamic has ? I have been approached in many parking lots lately while shopping(Walmart , Sam's ,Menard's ,Goodwill, etc. ) by inquirng people asking about the Maverick Hybrid -do you like it ? Mileage? Problems? Power ? -and on and on.......Really? 45.6 mpg average? yes . No problems so far .
Wife and I think we should be compensated by Ford for all the positive interactions we have been having. It really is fun though to let them know what a neat little truck these are . They are almost always impressed by the "roomy" back seat , too. Oh well , Ford may have to build a few more for these prospects

I’ve never once been asked a single question about my Maverick or had anyone express the slightest interest in it. Maybe because they are all over local roads at this point. Alternately, maybe I look like a scary troll, and there are people who are curious but afraid to engage the troll.

Probably for the best, actually, because the asker would risk setting me off on a rant about my rattly dash or untraceable wind whistle that is about 93% of the way to making me lose my sanity. I can’t drive under 50 mph forever (speed where it starts whistling).

I didn't cure my 2025XL's wind whistle, but I diminished it about 80%. Start a thread on your Mav's wind noise and I'll tell you what I did. YMMV, of course.

I noticed yesterday that the whistle 90% disappears in recirc mode. Fresh air mode, comes right back.

Since my wife is handicapped and stays in the truck and works on embroidering projects while I do a lot of the shopping-she is more approachable ,I guess , for curious people wanting real , honest opinions . I have been blessed with a Maverick without any problems I have heard from some of you. Talking with many Maverick owners locally - I can attest that over 90% of them have NOT had any such problems either. YMMV.

you may have something there. Have added the same badge and not had many questions lately. May be the badge or maybe just so many on the road these days.

Seeing many more xl's being used a commercial vehicles lately. National Grid (electric supplier here in Central MA) is upgrading all meters in our area so they don't have to drive by to get a reading and have hired an outside firm to change. The company is out of SC and I see their white xl's with the company name on the door everywhere.

I live near the Honda NA development center where the next gen Odyssey/Pilot/Passport/Ridgeline is being developed.

I get asked by Honda engineers on the platform project about the Maverick often.

There will definitely be a hybrid Ridgie coming.

Only 2 recalls both fixed in my driveway and 1 AGM battery I bought at Costco a year ago with no further sleep issues.
Go Maverick. I would buy it again in a hot second.
If they come out with a Plug-In Maverick, I will upgrade.

Would take a plug in with the 2.0 Ecoboost to get me to jump prior to the 2028 redesign (hopefuly). or maybe the 2.3 Ecoboost
