This. But knowing that involves actually reading the owner's manual.Your red one is correct, the negative one is on the fender, per the owners manual.

yes, assuming he's been back to the forum since then, I believe the OP realized that shortly after responses to his pic started coming in.Not trying to belittle concern, but this all sounds like user error.
1. Incorrect remote jump points used underhood.
In his defense, he has not been on the forum since his post #4.yes, assuming he's been back to the forum since then, I believe the OP realized that shortly after responses to his pic started coming in.
It does.I have the same NOCO GB40. I wonder if those short clamps will even reach both post.
It reaches. We have the 40 as well.I have the same NOCO GB40. I wonder if those short clamps will even reach both post.
That one is where the 12v harness carries current everywhere and might be on a 300+ amp fuze. Good thing the DCDC Converter wasn't active?Heck, what you used as a negative is labeled as a positive, with a "no jumper clamp" image on it.

I can't help but wonder is someone isn't posting here because they were able to successfully override the safety protocols...
eh...heh heh...what is he, a .......?
Fortunately I have not had to use on my truck. I did use it on a Colorado at work and it worked great. Hopefully it will be used to help others, because I'm not jumping anyone with this hybrid. It's really not that far, pack goes on that indent on the fuse box area and both cables out the correct direction reach both points.
YES Wait! For all we know he is prone on the floor of his garage???I dunno guys. Is this the best way to kick someone off the forum? You think he will ever come back?
Have you never made a dumb mistake?
Poor taste IMO.

He’s not a new member. Quite an extensive post history that he probably should have stumbled across posts on hybrid batteries - especially since he has a NOCO he’s aware of the 12v issue.I dunno guys. Is this the best way to kick someone off the forum? You think he will ever come back?

My truck hasn't needed a jump either. But I've used the jump box multiple times to help others, without risking f-ing up my truck (or my previous vehicle) with a direct jump.Fortunately I have not had to use on my truck.
