Anyone know if there is an under hood lining available yet or something from the escape or bronco sport that can be used?

I'm planning on doing second skins hood installation kit, definitely needs something between combating the heat and the noise is pretty loud for what it is also.

Do a search for the part number. There may be cheaper places than Fairway Ford for the part.
I checked around and its not the part thats expensive its the shipping, they wanted $200, and others wanted $300 just for shipping. Not worth it.

Then ordering through parts.ford.com which has free shipping would probably be a better bet (when the hood insulator isn't on backorder)

Has anyone been able to get this yet and see if it fits? I stopped by my dealer today to see if it was any cheaper then ordering online and I figured I could use my pass points. Unfortunately the guy said it was on backorder indefinitely and he wasn't sure when it would come in.

He did mention that the part number now ends in a B instead of an A. At least that is what the Ford system kicked it over to when he entered the number I gave him.

Hood insulator: Mine arrived today 12/12/2022. Part # M1PZ16738-B is a blanket type material and mounts ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOOD. Not to be confused with the molded rubber engine cover for the 2.0L EB that mounts on the engine. The blanket included the rectangular plastic clips positioned in holes stamp-cut into the blanket. HOWEVER it is not a direct fit. The holes do not align with any under the hood. Additionally, there are two flaps and no place under the Mav hood to tuck them into. Before I go and cut and modify the blanket I would like to know what others have done. Did you simply disregard the pre-cut holes for the clips and cut holes where the hood has them or did you use contact cement to glue the blanket to the underside of the hood, disregarding the clips entirely? I attached a photo of the part for those who requested one. The overall dimensions are 21 1/2" deep X 53" and it will fit exactly under the hood. It just doesn't mate with any existing cut outs or holes in the metal.
