Perfect example…swapped out my Reverse lights with LEDs…and inside where the taillight goes…well…water is def getting in there (glad I have mudguards now), you can see straight through to the ground, and the metal is…thin. And some paint missing…

Instead of putting it up on a visor, and listen to it rattle sometimes, I decided to use that flat spot, and some good ol’ Velcro pads, and put it right there.. still easy to reach, secure, no rattle.
In my short time with my AWD Eco Lariat Luxury 360/360 Assist, with Michelins, I'll say firm, and noisy is a relative term...On pavement, it's smooth and pretty quiet....on highways/roads that are concrete, it's louder, and the noise seems to becoming in from the doors...
Seems to me, like Ford...
