That is definitely something people have not complained or remarked about. I feel like the Mav is the perfect size for the average person.

I live in Florida the land of U-Turns my 2025 spins around on a dime and I’m not looking at the specifications just my driving experience especially when I compare it to my F-150 no fear of having to jump a curb here…

I could probably park four or five mavericks inside the turning radius on my old Dodge
Ram!!!!;)(y)

I had to wait until both lanes were open to turn out on a busy street with my old Tundra. Loving the Maverick’s turning radius. Also, If I never have to do another three point turn to park at the grocery store I’ll be good.

The turning circle (not radius) of my Maverick is 2 feet bigger than my old single cab Ranger. I almost returned the truck the first day I owned it (2.5 years ago) because the stupid transmission hunted gears and because it felt like I was driving an ocean liner. I've gotten used to it now, but I still hope somebody, someday, actually releases a smaller truck.

So it all depends on what you're coming from. If you're coming from the F150, the Maverick is a svelte ballet dancer. If you're coming from a 2 door older Ranger, the Maverick is a bloated fat pig. Perspective is everything!

There used to be whole threads on MTC where people went to war arguing whether or not the Maverick was a small truck. In the end, I think we all agreed that size is in the eye of the beholder.

I have had two older Rangers and they cannot compare to the Maverick in any way, shape or form. And you're right prospective is everything.

OMG I love the turning radius of my mav. As they say, it turns on a dime. My old Prius was like this too. And I was really happy the first time I made a tight turn and it was amazing.

I get in my wife’s Honda SUV and I’m like WTF? This thing is like a semi truck to turn.

It’s funny, I had been driving a 2006 Tundra for 7 years before the Maverick. Someone hit my door in a parking lot and it spent 3 weeks in the shop. I borrowed a friends beater Honda Accord, I loved it. Didn’t realize how much low level anxiety driving big truck, mostly around town, was causing me. Just turning, parking etc was so nice. I loved the Tundra and it did me good, but this incident cemented my desire to get a Maverick.
