Confirming for 2025 Lariat, Driver & Passenger Front Seats
The owners manual is indeed incorrect.
Thanks everyone in the previous posts!

Make sure that:
• You sit in desired seat.
(Passenger side-lean over the arm rest so you can see the red warning symbol flash at the end)
• You close all vehicle doors.
• You set the parking brake.
• The transmission is in park (P).
• The ignition is off.
• You unfasten the driver and front
passenger seatbelts.

1. Turn Accessories Power ON by pushing Start Button WITHOUT foot on brake.

2. Wait a few second after the
seatbelt warning light switches ON.

Once you start Step 3, complete the procedure within 30 seconds.

3. For the seating position you are switching off, fasten then unfasten the seatbelt four times at a moderate speed, ending in the unfastened state. Do this slow enough so the seatbelt warning light switches on and off with each fasten and unfasten to ensure each was recognized by the computer.

4. The red seatbelt warning LIGHT flashes for confirmation, after the 4 time unfastening.

5. Turn Accessories Power Off.

same procedure to turn back on
thank you all! This worked for my 2025 Lariat on the passenger seat

Same, it was much easier that the 2023 when I tried to turn it off and they changed the format, 4 clicks in and out seeming to do the trick real quick for every seat in the truck.

Was able to do similar for driver seat. But did not work for pass seat. Tried many times, using various techniques. Gave up. However brought a seat belt buckle extender and that work. Now wife can unbuckle once we turn down our street without that ding dong sound.

They probably will not. Liability issue. And govt rules/regulations. I Asked once and got No.

Just a heads up for everybody. I tried several sequences with no luck disabling the seat belt dinger, but, I solved two problems with one solution. I ordered some seat belt extender, they came identical to the stock latches and extend a short 5 inches. Since they are plugged in all the time the trucks thinks the seat belts are always plugged in and the alarm never goes on.

Was able to disarm driver belt chime using instructions. But not the pass side. Brought a seat belt extension and that shutoff the chime. It didn’t fit but trimming the plastic housi g some, made it fit.
