Eh. As the owner of an F150 powerboost, I’m not sure I would purchase another Ford. The maverick hybrid made sense because it’s basically a Prius pickup but dealing with the endless problems from ford on both leaves a lot to be desired. With that being said, the vast majority of people’s perception on a car brand is tied to how their local dealers perform. I believe if I had a better dealer to provide better results, my feelings might be different.

You now wrong about the F150. I'm a retired Toyota tech and have owned only vehicles from Toyota and Nissan. The only reason I bought a Maverick was because of the hybrid transmission is very similar to the Toyota design. The 2.5l duratec is a very reliable motor. If Toyota would build a small truck similar to the Maverick I would have purchased it. No way would I trade in my Tundra for an F150.

No one is laughing. That is a horrible story. I bought my 2024 Mac after having no problems with a 2014, 2020, and 2023 Escape. Keeping my fingers crossed. OLT
