Turn signal recall with Lasfit Bulbs

Load resistor? Where would I get those and would I need (4) for the brake and turn signal rears?

I bought a similar version to these for my Honda Civic when I had hyperflashing. They're plug and play so no splicing wires

Anyone else get the recall done and are now having hyper flash?

Service manager at the dealer is dumbfounded and suspects there will be an “updated” software update….

If anyone has a 2024 Maverick Lariat, the Lasfit T-3 series bulbs will not work, Lasfit now states that fact on their web site and in fact the bundle kit now omits the red T-3 bulbs for the Lariat. I tried those bulbs and they hyper flash.
The solution that works for me is to purchase from Headlight Revolution the following:

Tail/Brake/Signal
Four GTR.LED 285 Lighting Armor Series 4257 LED Bulb Red
Four Morimoto Resistors 40Watt 7.5ohm

Front Turn Signals
Two GTR. LED 284 Lighting Armor Series 4257 Amber
One (2 Pack) Ultra GTR Pro Resistors 6ohm

This option works with absolutely no problems with hyper flashing . Not difficult to install by any DIY type or have a shop install them for you.

Also Digital Dynamics has LEDs on their web site that are designed for the Lariat but I haven't tried them.

Or rather than spend $60+ in load resistors just FORScan disable outage detection; you're defeating it with the resistors anyways.

Yep, that's what I did and it corrected the issue. Wont have outage detection but is it really that hard to look at your vehicle from the outside to see if any of the lights aren't working? The annoying fast sound & light of hyperflash returns to normal.

I was affected as well but anyone actuallt spent some time on monitoring the rear tail lights? When my turn signal module hyperflashes, my right rear tail light does not blink. This time it is a safety issue and i will switch back to the og bulbs

I did look outside and actually noticed that my right rear tail light does not flash when my turn signal hyperflashes and this happen often. When it does not hyperflash, the rear right turn signal works. I have zero issue on the rear right tail lights and this is my second set of lasfit led bulb they sent me for the rear. Still the same issue. Im beginning to think it is something worse

Only the pro version can disable the bulvmb outage? I loaded the free version and signed up for the two month trail. Am I SOL from stopping the inside hyper flashing?

The free version will work for you. Worked for me. EONR24 put together this spreadsheet. Follow these instructions EXACTLY and you will have no problems.

It's not so much a recall on the recall as another issue with similar root cause: the software team evidently forgot to assign the values in the BCM to account for having 2 taillight bulbs whereas other C2 platform vehicles like the Escape and Bronco Sport only use 1. So the amp draw detect limits weren't sensitive enough to detect one turn signal bulb out and at the same time the high threshold too low resulting in normal current triggering the overcurrent protection (there's no fuses).
