Hello, I just followed the excel document on the ForScan page on settings for the hyperflash.

My question is, during daytime, is the DRL supposed to be yellow, but at night it's white?

I've got the whole set of LEDs that I bought from lasfit in 2022 when I first booked for a 2023. My truck never arrived until this year, so mine is probably the older model.

Also, was lasfit doing some kind of recall/replacement for these older bulbs? Anyone mind sharing the link or info?

I believe they're suppose to be white anytime the parking lights are On, when the blinker is engaged they switch to flashing amber. As why they're called Switchbacks.

Hey make sure you make these two settings "TURN ONLY" instead of "TURN AND DRL"

Ahh, that's probably why.
So if I use "turn only", it will still using the turn bulb as DRL? Just using white color, right?

That was for the rear taillight brake/turn signal bulbs.
Yes, but my rear bulbs are also old. Different model than what it sells now. Are the new bulbs not needing change in ForScan? Current setting will generate DTC with bulb check turned off

You didn't mention that you had the rear Lasfit bulbs as well. The older Lasfits when installed on a truck with the updated BCM outage detection per recent recalls will fast flash the instrument cluster indicator (hyperflash) as if a bulb is out. Lasfit was replacing them with the newer T3 bulbs. Or since you have access to Forscan you can also disable bulb outage detection for the rear lamps.

Disabling is what I did. But I'd prefer not doing that since it generates DTC code
